1.Admission for 1st year B.Tech. course through JEE mains (joint entrance examination) merit through Uttarakhand State Online Counseling.

2.Admission for the lateral entry of B.Tech. course is through UKSEE (Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam) which is conducted during the month of May/June.

There are many reservation such as SC/ST,North Eastern ,J &K migrant,NRI and 50 % Punjab Resident reservation . No one can enter in Thapar University through management quota and it is strictly adhered . All counselling is done online and every data is send to higher officials.

College Infrastructure

Some things were ok but some were not ok like hostel was not available there, facilites were good and equipment was also available there. Food provided in canteen was good. There were no living area. Wifi and smart boards works very well.
