DY Patil College of Engineering was established in 1984 in Pimpri and later shifter Akurdi, Pune in 2001. It is run by by DY Patil Pratishthan Society. Built across 10 acre of land, the College offers BE and ME courses. Approved by AICTE, the NBA and the DTE, the College is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The College has state-of-the-art infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories and has well-qualified, motivated, and dedicated faculty members. It offers separate hostel for boys and girls hostel with ultra-modern facilities.

Admission criteria-

• BE admission is granted to candidates basis a valid JEE Main 2020/MHT CET 2020
• Admission to ME is granted on the basis of candidate’s GATE 2020 score
• For admission to BE, it is important that candidates have also completed their Class 12

Placements at this College are excellent.The highest package was recorded at Rs 16.5 LPA while the lowest package stood at Rs 6 LPA.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology, also known as SIT, Pune is a constituent institute of Symbiosis International Deemed to be University (SIU). It was established in 2008 in Lavale Hills, Pune and is a part of SIU Pune, Lavale Hill campus.

Currently, the institute offers UG, PG and PhD programmes under various specialisations of Engineering such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering.

It has quite good placements.the highest domestic package offered during placements was rs 30 lpa, whereas, the highest international package was rs 31 lpa. the highest internship stipend has given to students was rs 70,000 per month.

DIY Patil doesn't have hostel facilities but it students intake is more and has more faculty.

According to student reviews symbiosis institute of technology is better than the DY Patil.

Nadimpalli Satyanarayana Raju Institute Of Technology is a good College with up to the par infrastructure and required facilities for a student.

The College is located amidst the lush greenery with good atmosphere for educational purposes.

There are two libraries equipped with books and magazines for different courses.

The faculty is helpful plus friendly with good student teacher rapport.

The College has average placement for Engineering students with adequate package.
