Other fee/ University fee payable at the time of admission for first year is Admitted through COMED-K - Rs.35,000/-
And hostel fees plus mess fees would be 90000 to 100000 plus 15000 caution money which will be returned to you after the completion of studies.

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is one of the best private colleges in India. All the branches are above average here . Civil branch is good here. However, placements for civil engineering are not that good as other branches.

The highest package of Civil branch for last year was around 15 lakhs per annum whereas the average package is around 5-6 lakhs . The placements for other branches is very high as compared to this branch here.

The main recruiters here are  Amazon, ACC,  Atkins, CISCO, Cognizant, HP and many more. The percentage of students getting placement is nearly 84% .

Ramaiha institute of technology is the best institute. Ranked 7 in private engineering colleges. But with this rank you can only get civil engineering that too according to previous year cut-off and cut off is highly based on the number of students appear for the exam. I would like to suggest you that you can diffinately go for counselling but don't expect good branches in this rank . Although the college itself is very good.

Both the courses you have chosen have good job opportunities with decent salary. Ramaiah Institute of Technology is a very good and reputed college. It has excellent faculty and a great placement record. You should choose a college which ensures you good placement because at the end of your course, all you want is to get placed in a good company. So if you choose CSE from a low level college and do not get good placement then it's not worth it. Hence you should choose Mechanical Engineering in Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
