Hindustan institute if technology, Chennai is a good institute with good rank and educational faculty. Both the courses are good but I would suggest you to go where you have interest. Aerospace engineering has good reviews but placements may be mostly of companies which are not that core related.

Both the institutes are good but in my opinion KIIT is better option for this course for the placement purpose. Actually the overall placement of this course is little bit less than other streams. In KIIT the placement is good. There are 60seats for this. It is AICTE

In VIT electives are of two types, namely, Program Elective and University Elective.AS far as I know you will have to do 4 Program Elective from the given 10-12 subjects like Renewable Energy, SCADA, Generation, Special Machines, Neural Network, etc.

Some things were ok but some were not ok like hostel was not available there, facilites were good and equipment was also available there. Food provided in canteen was good. There were no living area. Wifi and smart boards works very well.
