The syllabus is same when you enter the college for the whole branch. There is no differentiation in syllabus. In each and every semester there will be subjects related to computer science and engineering. Also if you have chosen any specialization then it might differ from simple CSE.

Yes you can have but it will be difficult to handle both the extra papers along with semester syllabus. each semester will have around 5-6 subjects and major and minor will be additional 2 along with lab.

I would suggest you to choose CMRIT, Banglore over Dr Ambedkar institute of technology.Since CMRIT has a good infrastructure and faculty compared to the Dr.B R Ambedkar Institute.Talking about placements top companies such as Deloitte,Morgan Stanley,Appdynamics,Commvault,Texas instruments and many more visit the campus every year.So here too CMRIT
Generally cutoffs changes every year as it depends upon various factors like difficulty level of the paper, number of students appearing for the paper, performance of the students in the exam, etc.
But in general considering previous year cutoffs then i don't think you can get CSE under 2A(General) or
Some things were ok but some were not ok like hostel was not available there, facilites were good and equipment was also available there. Food provided in canteen was good. There were no living area. Wifi and smart boards works very well.
