Placement for marine Engineering in Srinivas institute of technology is average, by getting a rough idea about 80 to 85% student get placed, but if  talking about salary package so don't expect high package because even for Computer Science and Engineering the highest package l was of rupees 14

The syllabus is same when you enter the college for the whole branch. There is no differentiation in syllabus. In each and every semester there will be subjects related to computer science and engineering. Also if you have chosen any specialization then it might differ from simple CSE.

Yes you can have but it will be difficult to handle both the extra papers along with semester syllabus. each semester will have around 5-6 subjects and major and minor will be additional 2 along with lab.

Generally cutoffs changes every year as it depends upon various factors like difficulty level of the paper, number of students appearing for the paper, performance of the students in the exam, etc.
