I am currently pursuing a BTech in Computer Science Engineering at JIS College of Engineering. My interest in technology and problem-solving led me to choose this field, as it allows me to work on exciting areas like software development, artificial intelligence, and data science. I’m particularly passionate about developing projects that can solve real-world problems, like the GeoSnap project I’m working on, which identifies photo locations for various user groups. The quality of teaching at the college is quite good. The faculty is knowledgeable and approachable, providing a solid understanding of core subjects like algorithms, data structures, and programming. However, some courses could benefit from more practical, hands-on examples and real-life applications. The labs are well-equipped, and faculty members encourage students to engage in research and participate in hackathons, which has been a great learning experience for me. As for the curriculum, it covers most of the essential topics in Computer Science, but it could be more aligned with the latest trends in technology. While subjects like AI, machine learning, and cloud computing are part of the program, deeper integration of emerging fields such as blockchain or advanced AI would better prepare us for the fast-evolving tech industry. Overall, the academics provide a strong foundation, but more emphasis on modern developments could enhance its relevance.

Placements at JIS College of Engineering have been pretty decent over the years. The college has a good placement cell that helps students with preparation through mock interviews, resume building, and grooming sessions. The average package for placements is around 4.5 LPA, and well-known companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture , Capgemini and IBM frequently visit the campus to recruit students. In terms of percentage, around 80-85% of students get placed, which is a solid number. Some students even manage to land higher packages depending on their skills and performance. We have good Tech fest and Annual fest here in our campus which is very exciting and enjoyable for students here.

I choose this course (computer science and engineering).It mainly many more opportunity in this college (jis college of engineering). Last year there very good placement. Many more facilities are there. Very good faculty. Crowd and campus is very good.

Academic is good here the teachers are fantastic and they provide enough resources to study so that we can score good marks in our semester exam and our course syllabus is also modernised and very helpful

Placement is also amazing almost all the students are getting placed in multinational companies and in our college there is a seperate management named training and placement cell for managing the placement

The college campus and hostel are very hygienic and clean and tidy .

I am studying in Btech CSE department . The teaching quality of our department is extremely good. The faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable and also the curriculum is up to date .Also the curriculum makes every student job ready

The placement quality is very good with an average package of 10 LPA and average package of 25 LPA in various MNC companies with about 85% to 90% students getting placed.The college is also very supportive in the placement processes.

The course cost is 6 lakhs and it is absolutely money worthy

Academics is amazing in our department computer science and engineering the syllabus is also very modernised and the facilities provides us enough resources to study and score good marks in the semester exams

Placement is amazing here almost all students get placed in Different Multinational Companies and the there is seperate management for placement called training and placement cell overall our college placement is very good
