As you have not mentioned your general rank so it is quite rough to give exact information. But based on your girl rank you are not able to get admission in these Colleges. As for admission in these Colleges you must have good rank. Do your counselling properly. Give your preference to the Colleges according to your rank. You can apply to many other private Colleges. Go through the Colleges properly where you want to take admission.

I got 13586 general rank and 3968 obc rank should i get BIET or KNIT college for b.tech 2019????!??!!!?

Hi Yash,

It will NOT be possible for you to get any branch in KNIT or BIET based on your General Rank i.e. 13,586 because you need a rank below 5,000 to stand a chance in either of these colleges.

But, based on your OBC category rank, you can definitely get the following branches-

1. BIET, Jhansi

Mechanical
Electrical
ECE
Civil
Chemical

2. KNIT, Sultanpur

Civil
Electrical
Mechanical
Electronics

I get rajkiya engineering college sonbhadra in first round of upsee councelling in open rank but I belongs to armed force quota but they do

As you have not applied for armed quota in first round . But there is no chance to change your cayegory. Now you can applied for armed quota. You should take this college or you can go till last round of counselling. process of choice filling will be conducted through online mode. Candidates need to login to their respective accounts and select the number of choices of courses or colleges based on their order of preference. To avoid missing out on a seat, candidates may select as many choices as possible. Candidates need to save their choices before logging out of their accounts. Theres also a provision for candidates to edit, modify, add or delete their choices before locking them.

Which college should I give preference between JSS(Noida) and KNIT(Sultanpur) in UPSEE choice filling?

Dear Aspirant,

Both JSS Academy of Technical Education and Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology are good colleges.

The difference is:-

The ranking of KNIT is higher than JSSATE.
The fees of KNIT is low.
JSSATE has facilities like gym, cafeteria and WiFi which KNIT doesn't have.

Now based on the above differences you can choose your preference.

Among KNIT/BIET and JSS/AKGEC which one is better placement wise ?

Hello aspirant!

To be honest, all the colleges in AKTU provide the same average package during placement that is 4 lpa. Since KNIT/BIET are government colleges, they have better ranking but many students say that JSS/AKGEC is better in studies. So the placement is same but studywise JSS/AKGEC is better. KNIT is better than BIET. KNIT is a state government college and have high rank in UP. The college has high rateing and good placement also. You can go for BIET also. The college is also good. BIET has good placement and also a good ranked college. You can choose any one for admission.

i have 700 rank girls cotta in upsee may i get computer sc. in iet lucknow or knit sultanpur

As you mentioned your girls quota rank . But it is difficult for you to get KNIT SULTANPUR or IET LUCKNOW. There is almost no chance to get this College. As you have not mentioned your general rank so it is quite difficult to give exact information. But based on last years cutoff you cannot get chance in these Colleges as you have mentioned. D your counselling properly. Give your preference to the Colleges based on your general rank. You may get some benefits due to in girl quota.

Hi Ritik,

According to the UPSEE 2018 SC category cutoff, you can definitely get KNIT, Sultanpur, BIET, Jhansi or IET, Lucknow.

You can certainly get the CSE branch in KNIT and BIET but you will not be able to get CSE, Electrical and Mechanical branch in IET, Lucknow.

I would suggest you take CSE branch in KNIT or BIET which you will get after Round 1 or Round 2.

College Infrastructure

Kamla Nehru Institute of technology has a nice infrastructure and a pretty big campus area of 100 acres. It's hostel and mess facilities are also there with fully wifi facility. It's also has a big play ground.

This is a fully Wi-Fi enabled residential campus. Students can also enjoy the natural beauty here, and we can also see peacocks roaming on the campus. The college provides medical facilities and sports facilities.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is very insane as they built very good and highly maintaining that actually that though should be for one's particular as they managed some times I wonder too that they maintain so hygiene also.
