Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Dear Aspirant,
Both Institutes are public/government colleges and hence demand a good rank in UPSEE from the candidates who apply for admission in both these colleges.
Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur is a newly established Institute back in 2013 and has a larger intake of students in the Mechanical engineering department as compared to the intake of Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur. It also provides a wifi campus within its area which is absent in KNIT. It is a better ranked Institute and offers an average package of 3.6 lakhs to the graduates in terms of placement prospects. It also offers job opportunities to its MTECH candidates.
On the ther hand, KNIT was established back in 1983 and therefore has experienced and we'll qualified astute professors and a solid alumni base and network. Furthermore, it charges less fees than that of MMMUT. It charges only 2.5 lakhs as compared to 3.5 lakhs in MMMUT. In terms of placement, it is better than that of MMMUT as it offers an average salary of 5.6 lakhs to mechanical engineering department students and has a good placement record of providing 75% placement to its students.

Hi.
KNIT Sultanpur seems like a decent college, given no other choice. Since there are no exact placement statistics, so the conclusions can only be drawn based on peer reviews present online. From what I could grasp is:
“ If we see the syllabus then we will find it doesn't go well with job requirements but what our college do is that along with the classic syllabus it gives you additional supplements to your studies which is utterly important for job. ”
If you have a further specific query please feel free to ask.
You can read more about KNIT at THIS PAGE .
Best of Luck.
Dear Student,
Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology is a state government, autonomous engineering college in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. For Electrical branch the fees for whole course is around 3.37 lakhs. For some last years, the placements for Electrical are average here. The average salary package is around 3-4 LPA whereas the highest package reaches upto 7-8 LPA. Teachers are good here. Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur was established in year 2013. The fees for electrical branch is around 2.2 lakhs for the whole course. Placements for electrical are just average here. Placement percentage is very less here. Average salary package is around 2-3 LPA whereas the highest package is around 6-7 LPA. Faculties are good. From these two, KNIT is good in placements and environment.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for coming on this site. Hope you have a great day ahead.
Kamla Nehru Institute of technology has a nice infrastructure and a pretty big campus area of 100 acres. It's hostel and mess facilities are also there with fully wifi facility. It's also has a big play ground.
This is a fully Wi-Fi enabled residential campus. Students can also enjoy the natural beauty here, and we can also see peacocks roaming on the campus. The college provides medical facilities and sports facilities.
The infrastructure of the college is very insane as they built very good and highly maintaining that actually that though should be for one's particular as they managed some times I wonder too that they maintain so hygiene also.
