There are permanent security outposts in front of every Mallabhum Institute of Technology hostel's main gate, where 24-hour security arrangements are made. College committed to preventing ragging not only on the Institute campus but also in the hostel as well, so special security arrangements were made in the first-year hostel. Chilled drinking water facilities daily Newspapers are available.

The Mallabhum Institute of Technology has four three-storied hostels, having four separate wings for Girls. Security College gives utmost importance to the security of every individual student in the hostel. 3 Bedded hostel accommodation is provided to the students of the first year, 2 Bedded for second-year students and Single Bedded for third and fourth-year students.

The Mallabhum Institute of Technology has a Medical unit that has been running successfully on the campus, headed by a medical practitioner, having an MBBS degree. The students are treated free of cost in this medical unit. 

The Mallabhum Institute of Technology has a Gym facility for the students. This facility helps the students to remain physically fit throughout their studies.

The Mallabhum Institute of Technology has a library facility for all students with an area of 2124 square feet and 50 sitting capacity. And provides Circulation Book Bank Internet Facility, Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), Repository of Question Paper and Syllabus Reading Room Facility, National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL),  Current Awareness Services Display of New Arrivals Departmentally.

The Mallabhum Institute of Technology has games and sports. In the sprawling campus of the college, there are Separate playgrounds for Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, and Badminton. Both Indoor and outdoor games are given emphasis. MIT conducts football, cricket, and volleyball tournaments at regular intervals. 

The Mallabhum Institute of Technology has an air-conditioned central computer laboratory, having 100 well-equipped computers. This is for the common usage of the students of all departments.
