Basically ICAS ( International center for Applied Sciences ) is one of the smallest bodies of Manipal University. Many Students do confuse it to be a part of MIT, but it isn't.

in my opinion it might be difficult for you to get your desired stream in MIT but,the choice of college depends on various factors like cutoffs of colleges,seats available,stream selection and many more.you can check all the colleges available in your location on the careers 360 web page

yes you will be happy to know that MIT , manipal do offer lateral entry in every B.tech course and to get that you are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria that is you must have passed a diploma of maximum 3 years granted by board of technical examination

Manipal University Admission process is depends on the merit list of the entrance test. Admission is based on the scores obtained in the University's entrance tests or the national level entrance test. Direct admission is also available and it is based on the marks of the qualifying exam.

Last year All India Rank cut off was 1113 for Manipal campus and 8760 for Jaipur campus to get admission in Computer Science Engineering. So you need to secure a rank below 8,000 to have decent chances of getting seat in CSE. Over two candidates applied for MU OET

MIT Manipal is the oldest and I think would be the best in the case of placement also. So I would personally prefer MIT Manipal than Jaipur. So both are good and you should choose as per your convenience, as the placement levels would be good in Both the campuses.
