Answer would be quite subjective, like, how much have you studied the concepts, how many questions have you done, level of those questions, etc.

Frankly, I found the level of questions was almost similar to that of BITSAT (at least for me). It was just that BITSAT was more of thinking and MU-OET was more of shortcut game (due to very hard time restriction). The questions will be quite straight forward and deal with common problems based on very basic concepts. If you're seriously preparing for big guns like IIT-JEE, then, you might even have seen the questions and memorised their answers. Although, I still recommend to read the questions thoroughly anyway as I myself found some tricky twists at the end of questions.

Other than that, if you mess up first time, you can give it a second go. Heck, even a third go.

Even if you score 145+ out of 200, you have a confirmed CSE seat in MIT Manipal (although you might have to wait for subsequent rounds of counseling).

The key of MIT Manipal CSE over other Private Universities like VIT or SRM is its small 250 Batch size and a better Teacher-Student Ratio as well as better opportunities per candidate. The Placements for CSE are nearly 90%, with an average package anywhere between 8-10 LPA.

As you are getting information technology and data science in Manipal institute of technology so I would recommend you to take up data science considering it as new branch in Manipal. Still in future data science has too much of scope than any other branch of computer science.

This branch can't go out of date. Because there is no saturation level of data.

Manipal Institute of Technology offers 18 B.Tech. programmes in streams including Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, Data Science, Building Science and Chemical Engineering. All BTech courses at the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), have excellent campus-placements opportunities.

Eligibility Students who have completed Class XII Science with a mandatory percentage, are eligible to apply.

So as you mentioned that you have diploma and completed 10th.

You can apply for Lateral Entry for all B.Tech programs and it's eligibility is that you should, pass in 3-year Diploma (respective Engineering stream) granted by the State Board of Technical Examination with minimum 45% aggregate marks or equivalent.

One of it being through the jee mains exam score i e percentile or rank.

Another way is by attempting the Manipal University entrance exam and getting seat according to the score in it.
