Hi Chandu,
Congatulations on managing to score a decent rank. The cutoffs obviously vary every year so I would advise you to keep more options in safety. Please ask yourself, what work will you love doing? The Civil stuff or those playing with websites, programming and IoT.Please do not merely choose a college based on placements. You would have to compromise as you may not get top colleges but take up your preferred branch only.I would still attach a link for you below do that you can get to know where you have high, low or medium chances i.e in which colleges and branch. The link will give you details of every college. So please go to that link, you can add your own preferences like your category and compare different colleges before taking one.

Hello Mohit Kumar, as per your JEE mains rank it is preety though for you to get any goverment college and ven if you managed to get a good government college getting a CSE branch is nearly impossible. But there are many better options available where you can pursue your career and thrive in it. Your rank is quite good it can get you a CSE branch in nearly any private college.
Dear Candidate
See as per your Marks-183 it is very difficult to get a Government Medical Seat even if you have a state quota and another quota if applicable. You should have maintained a score above 550 to be on the safer side
At this stage, I will suggest you must use this link to get a fair idea about the colleges both Private and Government you can get as per the score you have received and then plan accordingly.

Hi Ayushi
I am very sorry to say that you will not be allowed to sit for JOSAA counselling as you haven't qualified for advanced. This year only the qualified candidates are allowed to sit for the counselling conducted by JOSAA. You can try in private colleges that accept JEE main score or you can sit for the state counselling. All the best
Thank you
Hello Mriganka,
Your category rank of 2844 is very good and you are likely to secure a seat in good NITs. You can even secure a lower branch in the best NIT that is NIT Warangal. You have a fair chance in decent enough branches in Tier-1 NITs and you can definitely get branches like EEE, ECE, CIVIL, MECHANICAL and even CSE in MID level NITs like Raipur, Durgapur, Rourkela, Jamshedpur, etc. You can try college predictor of Careers360 for better guidance. I am also attaching last year closing ranks of JoSAA counselling round 6.

Thanks.
Hi !
Any entrance exam like NEET is required for getting admission into medical courses like MBBS , BDS ,BAMS , BHMS etc. but you want to do course in applied nutrition , you need not have taken any entrance for this course , and the management seats have very high fees , so you will easily get a seat in the course of your choice.
All the best !

Hello chandu,
Cse is the most happening branch and SIT, NIE and JSS are the top colleges in Karnataka, so it is almost same. But counting on all the factors, cse is good academically in NIE and has better packages in JSS ( though it has placements in NIE, it's believed to be quite less compared to JSS and JSS is good in academics but not accepted to be as better as NIE) . Cse is good academically and has good placements in SIT but not as much as NIE or JSS. So if you opt for high packages then go for cse in JSS and if you want strong basics with good placements then go for cse in NIE. Hold on to SIT as your third option as it belongs to one of the best colleges in Karnataka. Good luck!
