Hello,

You need to clear the cutoff of NEET as well as should satisfy the cutoff of AFMC.

Moreover it is important to note that AFMC will not be taking admission solely on the basis of NEET like other states. AFMC has its own counselling process in which the authorities will be conducting several tests. However, only the marks scored by the candidates in NEET 2019 will be considered for determining the NEET 2019 cutoff AFMC as the counselling process includes subjective tests like Psychological Assessment Test and Personal Interview and the marks of the candidates in these tests cannot be used for stipulating cutoff.

You can check the previous year cutoffs and other details using the link below,

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-afmc

Hope this helps!

Thank you!

Hi Bharath,

you can get a good seat in Sastra University in any branch if you apply by stream 2.

The admission is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats)
Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)
There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores the highest marks. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks are 90-95% and JEE main marks are between 50-120 then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course.

Hope it was useful to you and your query was resolved.

Feel free to contact us for any queries.

All the best :)

Hello Aspirant,

As you are from genral category qualifying percentile for NIT of JEE mains is 78.21 and you have got 90.06 you can get admission in NIT through your score . Also you can try for IIt through JEE Advance as your score is good you can get IIT .

Good Luck!

Hope this will help you.

So, Considering this to be your percentile, I will tell you the possibility.

Total Candidates in jee main 2019 were 958619. Your general rank must be around 1.7 lakh. Considering that your obc rank must be near to 20-40k.

That according to me will not be sufficient for you to make into any college through jee main. Private colleges may be an option.

Hy! Ashwin Ramesh, Work experience is not matter for Gate, If you want to give Gate exam seriously so first clear you basic concepts in subjects which you studied earlier like if i talk about for CS student then C programming, Data Structure, Operating System..etc and Aptitude is compulsory for all so first download Gate 2020 Syllabus and then analyse all subjects and you can buy books for Gate prepration and also can watch Youtube channels for prepration.

So My friend if you really want to do hard work then start today because almost in August last Registration will be start.

Best of luck!!

Hello,

Yes, Candidate must secure at least 50% marks (45% in the case of reserved categories) in aggregate in qualifying examination.

Thanku.

Hi Pratim!! I would like to inform you that going to the counselling venue is compulsory for phase-I counselling as you have to give them the demand draft as well as book your seat and no online facility is available for the same but if you can't attend the counselling you can send any of your family members with all the required documents as well as with an authorisation letter from you mentioning that you authorise the person to attend the counselling on behalf of you.

Hope that helped.Thank you
