Hello aspirant,
Sorry to say that chances are less to get qualified in jee main with score in 60s.The experts say the cutoff for general category will ne nearly 85 percent and for sc category it will be nearly 70 percent.Anyway try jee main april session to have a better chance to get qualified.
Good luck

Hello,

No, you cant appear in aiims because i think you have exceeded age limit.
As the ALL INDIA PRE MEDICAL TEST website states the upper limit for appearing for MBBS exam in India is 25 years. The limit is relaxed for 5 years for those who belong to SC/ST category.

I hope this helps.

hii indrani

you have the score more than the minimum as mentioned need to score above 50% aggregate in pcb to appear for neet exam.In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled CAste/Scheduled tribes or other Backward classes, the marks obtained in physics, chemistry and biology/ bio-technology taken together in qualifying exam be 40% instead of 50% for general candidates.

You can check further details of neet in the link given below:

Thankyou

Dear Indranil, you are correct that NEET doesn't allow Private Students to appear for its entrance examination. But AIIMS gives ypu tjat provision. So if ypu can study in NIOS and improve your percentage so as to score 60%, you can appear for AIIMS MBBS.

Hello Priya Singh,

I would like to mention the age criteria for NEET 2020 below:

  • You must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2020. One's Upper age from General category is 25 years and 30 years for students from OBC/SC/ST categories.

I would suggest you visit the careers360's link given below which has detailed info of the NEET with tips.

The link for the same is:https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-chapter-wise-weightage-and-important-topics

Hope this helps and all the best!

Dear Indranil, for OBC category, the required minimum aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English is 60% and 56% cannot be considered qualified. You can appear for improvement exams, improve your aggregate and then appear for AIIMS MBBS 2020. Alternatively because NEET only requires 45% for OBC, you can appear for NEET in 20q9 only if you have filled in the application form and submiyted it.

Dear Riti, in the year 2017, Supreme Court has ordered a stay on age bar for DU LLB. So there is no age bar to appear for DU KLB, provided you meet the other eligibility criteria like if you belong to General Category, you should have a minimum aggregate of 50% in your Graduation/Post graduation (whichever is the highest). It is 45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST. Hello milcah Rongmei

Actually the NEET will give the strictly rules in some of the things but in this case there is no problem no worries sir you can go for exam they will allow you for sure

Dear Indranil, for being eligible for AIIMS MBBS, you should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Cjemistry, Biology and English as your core subjects with a minimum aggregate of 60% if you are from General Category. NIOS is a recognised Institution and so you are good to go. And you should be atleast 17 years by December 31st of the year of admission. If you fulfill this criteria, you can appear for AIIMS. We hope you filled in AIIMS MBBS application form for 2019 because right now the final registration process is going on.
