Hello Dibyojyoti,
The basic statement of eligibility on the basis of 10+2 score for st Xavier's says that:
The minimum aggregate in 10+2 exam should be 60 percent. Those candidates belonging to the minority category should have 55 percent in their 10+2 examinations and those belonging to the reserve category should have 50 percent marks in their 10+2
So if you manage to score more than 60% aggregate in case of general then you are eligible for the test.
All the best

Hello Shubham,
You convert your OGPA/CGPA marks in percentage. substract .5 marks from OGPA/CGPA then multiply with 10 this is the standard formula to convert marks in percentage. then you will get to know you are eligible or nor for this exam.
Thanks
Hello ananya Sharma,
In ALQ merit list they release the students eligible for first round counselling.
So If your name is not there in first round counselling list don't get disappointed. Hope for the best and your name will be in second round counselling.
All the best
Computer based exam means online mode exam. You will have to attend the exam at the exam centre. You will be given a computer and a set time to answer the questions. You have to select the correct answer for the question. You cannot write it from home. Offline exam means you have to write exam with a pen and paper.
Hello Abhishek,
well it depends on your location o the center. If you have a center that is very far from your home, then I would recommend you to take the evening shift as by this you will be able to reach the center on time.
if that is not the case then the most preferred slot is of the morning as you will have a fresh mind and you will be able to analyze the questions more precisely. Moreover, you will have a pleasant sleep before the exam and hence your mind would be free.
the disadvantage I feel about evening shift is that if you hear somebody talking abut the paper of first shift, then you might get discouraged and nervous easily, and do blunder in your paper.
the paper is of the same difficulty, whichever shoft you choose,, so the difficulty level will not fluctuate anyhow
All I want to say is it totally depends on YOU. Whatever suits you better make a decision according to it.because in the end it is you who have to give the exam.
hope it helps
Thankyou
