For KIET, Ghaziabad

• Highest package offered last year was around INR 32 LPA
• Avergae package offered last year was around INR 10-12 LPA

For NIET, Noida

• Highest package offered last year was around INR 10 LPA
• Average package offered last year was around INR 6.5 LPA

KIET, Ghaziabad is good as the average placements are better in this college.

Hi Anuj, it's good that you have predicted your rank before the declaration of result of UPSEE. But since you  are getting low predicted rank i.e. 55k approx. may be you can face little bit problem but if you belong to Uttar Pradesh and you have good marks in  12th boards than I don't think that yow will fac any problem. So just chill you will surely get CSE branch in NIET. only thing you need to remember that you should try to take admission as soon as possible becoz seats can get full any time. OK!

There is no major difference but there is slight difference in IT and computer science department as IT deals with computing technology in real life and the computer science deals with science which runs the IT APPLICATIONS.

NIET IS affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam technical university and NIET is one of the reputed college and there are many courses depends upon the students interest. NIET has best courses for COMPUTER SCIENCES., ECE., ME etc , for engineering students.

As I have researched a lot on both of these colleges so according to me I guess you should go for NIET greater noida over GNIOT as because of the following points:-

1) faculty-the faculties are more helpful and skilled in niet than gniot.

2) crowd-the crowd of people are better in niet compared to gniot.

3) placement-the placement of niet is far better than gniot as the highest package offered in niet is 25 lpa and morever it is growing each and every year and the average package offered to cse is 4-5lpa.whereas in gniot the highest is around 10-12lpa and average is around 3lpa for cse.

Hey dear, niet and gniot are both private universities and both are located at greater noida. So, there is not much difference between the two regarding placements, reason being thier year of establishment is also same i.e 2001. Therefore, the overall experience of teaching in both the colleges are same. So, i would suggest you both the colleges for b.tech, choose as per your convinience.

Yes, scholarships will surely be offered to the students who have taken direct admissions in APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, AKTU but you must have all the relevant documents required during the filling of scholarship form. Otherwise you will not be eligible to grant scholarship.

So first collect all the required documents and fill the online form. Then contact your college accounts staff for the same.Hopefully if everything goes right you’ll surely get scholarship.

Although the branch selection is upto you but still I would tell you an idea about all the things:-

Firstly ECE is all about physics, if you are intrested in physics like semiconductors, AC and DC currents then you should opt for ECE.

CS is all about computer, coding, programming so if you are interested in IT then you should go for CS.

Now, comparing these colleges altogether in placement wise:-

G L BAJAJ-Avg placement(4lpa), Highest placement (23lpa)

NIET-Avg placement(3.5-4.5lpa), highest package (26lpa)

Galgotias University-avg package(3lpa), highest package(16lpa)
