Hello Neethu,

RIT Kottayam is a government owned college whereas MA College is a private college. If this factor is of utmost importance to you then I suggest you to go for RIT Kottayam because of government ownership.

Now if you consider the other aspects that make a college impressive, MAC is the college that you should go for.

The faculty are highly experienced and knowledgeable.

The infrastructure is of high class and the library is well-equipped.

The college life is fun as there are various clubs and events organized throughout the year.

The placement record varies from decent to good. However, if you perform well throughout your college the you will get placed.

RIT Kottayam is also a highly esteemed Institute and it also has great faculties and placements. However, MAC is better in terms of academics.

You can get details of these two colleges in below links-

Hello Priyam,

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology accepts students that have scored well in the MHT-CET exam. The cut-off for 2019 has not been released yet but we can get a rough idea from the previous year's cut-off.

I'm sorry to tell you but  with 55 marks  it is extremely difficult for you to get admission in this institute as the cut-off goes higher.

In 2018, the cut-off marks for each stream of BE were as follows-

  • Electronics & Telecom Engineering- 110 marks
  • Mechanical- 124 marks
  • Instrumentation Engineering- 91 marks
  • CSE- 131 marks
  • Information Technology- 124 marks

If you consider the above previous year's cut-off then you probably don't have much chances of admission in this Institute.

You can still try for other colleges.

You can use the below link to see the previous years'cut-off trends of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology-

Hope this helps.

Hii,

RIT Kottayam ia a fully government college and the fee structure ia very less than a private college. The campus infrastructure, faculty and facilities are well developed. The average salary package is 3 lakhs pee annum and highest Salary package is 17 lakhs per annum. The college provides enough job opportunities for all the students. The college is good to pursue EEE. But most of the companies comes for recruitment are software.

Rishabh, I will list down the top colleges that you can get under COMEDK for CS or IT. This is based on your rank and previous year cutoffs. You can try for admission in the following colleges:-

  • A M C Engineering College, Bangalore
  • Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology, Chikmagalur
  • Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology, Moodbidri
  • Appa Institute of Engineering & Technology, Gulbarga
  • ATME College of Engineering, Mysore

But again it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper.

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.

Hope this helps!

Hi there. Rajiv Gandhi institute of Technology take admission in two ways. 1. On basis of MH CET score. And 2. On basis of jee mains. So if you have not given cet than you can take admission through jee mains.

Hello,

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #454545} If you can update on which entrance exam's marks you have mentioned, then we can provide you the required details properly.

Looking forward to help you out!

You should be able to get admission.Though you might have to compromise with the branch.

Let me make it clear to you, if you are just simply willing to do BTech and plans for PG like MBA or MTech then consider the college cause its value will help you but if you wanna work in the industry after your graduation then consider going for the branch no matter if it is an NIT or even an IIT.

Hope it helps... Good Luck!!
