      Great college for studies

      College Infrastructure

As a current student at RNSIT, I can confidently say that the college has really good infrastructure. The classrooms, labs, and library are well-maintained, and the environment is quite peaceful and perfect for studying. The Wi-Fi works well in most areas, and the campus overall gives a good academic vibe.

      Academics

One thing I really appreciate here is the focus on academics. There are frequent seminars, workshops, and tech talks organized across departments, which help us stay updated and practically involved. The faculty is supportive, and the teaching quality is solid—especially for students who are serious about tech and want to focus on their career.

      Placements

Placements at RNSIT are actually quite good, especially if you're from branches like CSE, ISE, or ECE. The college has tie-ups with a lot of well-known IT service and product-based companies. During our placement season, companies like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, and Mindtree were regulars. A few product-based companies like Cisco, Dell, Adobe, and NTT Data also came in, though they usually select fewer students and look for strong coding skills. The placement training starts well in advance, and the Placement Cell conducts regular aptitude sessions, soft skills training, and mock interviews. They also bring in external trainers at times. If you actively take part in the training, it definitely helps during interviews. For top branches (CSE/ISE), almost everyone gets placed, and multiple offer situations are common. The average package is around ₹4–5 LPA, while the highest offers go up to ₹10–15 LPA from product-based companies. For branches like EEE, Mechanical, and Civil, placement is a bit limited and mostly depends on individual effort or switching to IT roles.

      Value for Money

if you're someone who expects a very vibrant college life with fests, cultural programs, or a happening campus culture, you might feel a little underwhelmed. While there are events like Samskruthi and other fests, I personally felt that the cultural and non-academic activities don't live up to expectations or aren’t as actively promoted as the academic side.

So overall, RNSIT is definitely a great place if you're focused on academics and placements, especially in tech-related fields. But if you're looking for a more balanced college life with both study and cultural exposure, this might not be the perfect fit.

      College Infrastructure

The college has a very good infrastructure. There is a temple on campus. Hostels are available on campus. There are different buildings for different courses. Wi-Fi is available. A computer lab, chemistry lab, and mechanical lab are available. There is also a huge library. The facilities available in hostels are not so good. There are many restrictions.

      Academics

The teachers here are quite supportive and qualified. They prepare you well enough for exams and internals. Most of them are really friendly and encouraging. They give out study materials and papers well in advance. Even the teaching in classroom is great and might endup not needing notes from teachers.

      Placements

This year we had almost 80% of student placed. Top recruiters are IT companies from india and many foreign companies. Even internship opportunities were good in number and most of them with a decent CGPA got job offers. The roles that were offered varied from software developer to testing roles. Even core companies were quite a handful this year and they ask for a bond for 1-2 years. Also the college has a tie ups with different testing platforms like Cocubes, elitmus and bizotic.

      College Infrastructure

In each classroom, charging points and Wi-Fi are provided for students. The college's new library is superb; it is provided with Wi-Fi and has a very large space. Hostel life is one of the best experiences of these four years of engineering life at RNSIT. There is also a temple on the college campus. The food for the hostel is being served by Sodexo people, and GATE timings are not friendly. It closes at 8.30 p.m., which is too early.

      Academics

Lecturers are very friendly; they help us with problems we face, they give us considerate marks, they are good faculty for this department, and they are easily approachable anywhere outside the classroom as well. They encourage us to score well and provide us with good materials to study.

      Placements

According to the placement department, most of the students (around 80%) have been placed depending upon the CTC. It includes the oncampus as well as ofcampus data though. The top courses are ISE, CSE and ECE. Students who get the placement offer are also offered internships. The top companies that came are as follows Mercedes Benz, Wipro, TCS, Infoys, Capgemini, Nokia, Texas Instruments, Zscaler, HashedIn, Impress, Trilogy Innovations.

      College Infrastructure

Facilities are good, especially the library; it is the main source of attraction on the campus. Wi-Fi is there, labs are well maintained. Classrooms are good, but in some buildings, there are very few facilities. There are 2 sports grounds, one for cricket, kabaddi, and athletics, while another is for football and volleyball. One basketball court and 4 badminton courts are also there.

      Academics

Faculty members in our college are well versed in teaching except few who don't even know ABC of their subjects. Internals will be held once in a month. They actually train us very well for semester exams by conducting internals for 50 marks in 1 and half hour so that we get practiced writing. Pass percentage is almost 98+ and results are actually outstanding. Every sem almost one or the other will be in vtu rank.

      Placements

Coming to placements in our department, many students are placed in good companies till date, unfortunate this year placements is not so good but compared to all other branches except CSE our branch is good. The highest package in our department is 14.8LPA last year and 2024 batch the highest package is 11.5LPA. Apart from curriculum our department organises workshops and hackathons. Placement percentage is above 90% and some of the top recruitment companies are Adobe, TCS, Wipro etc.

My College library is very Good

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good, mainly the library, which is equipped with good books to study and an open area for different areas to do separate work. The library has fast Wi-Fi and is equipped with computers so people can come and work and there is a discussion hall so that people can come and discuss.

      Academics

Some teachers are really helpful and friendly to approach, while other teachers are extremely strict and hard on you. They eventually make the students industry-ready for placements by providing training for interviews and aptitude classes. The college exams are moderately difficult, but the notes given are better than in most other colleges. The college just focuses on academics more than other activities, and there is very little flexibility given for exams.

      Placements

Last year, the average package was 8 lpa across all the branches. The highest package was 55 lpa in the CSE stream. The placement percentage was 80%. Placement training is given in the second year. Big companies like Amazon and Adobe. This year, the highest package was 27 LPA, and the placement is still ongoing.
