The college has its own Hostels within the campus where 150 Boys can be given accommodation. Hostels are under the control of the Warden, Matrons, and Resident tutors who are appointed to look after the discipline.

The college has a Central Library that is fully automized and books are fully classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme. OPAC (ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOGUE)with the help of automized Software users can search the availability of a particular Book and the status of their account.

The college has Sports and Games that form an integral part of Royal’s total Educational Program. Royal has been maintaining a high standard in almost all games during Sports and Athletic Meets among engineering colleges in Kerala. We always have strived hard to excel in the fields of sports and games as in the academic arena. Royal College holds a very proud tradition of encouraging Athletes and Sportspersons in different fields. It has achieved an invincible track record in Sports and Games at Calicut University. The Department is giving systematic training and coaching for players in various games throughout the year. In order to give competitive experience and exposure, Royal teams participate in all the Inter-Collegiate Sports and Games Tournaments. Sports has become one of the most popular forms of human engagement, whether as professionals or amateurs, regularly or occasionally.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has three conference halls of 4000 sq. ft. All A/c halls are equipped with the latest teaching aids like LCD projector, slide projector, and overhead projector. Conference halls are for conducting guest lectures symposiums, seminars, placement Training programs ., etc. Educational cassettes are also projected in these theatres in consultation with the subject staff.

The college has more than 20 buses which are made available to the students and the faculty members for commuting from various points in the city and also from the suburbs like Kecheri, Kunnamkulam, Guruvayoor, Edappal, Pattambi, Perumbilavu to the campus and back. All students should make use of the College Transport or should stay in the hostel. This facility has made it possible to start the classes in time thereby helping the academic process. Our bus facilities have enabled us to maintain discipline among students. All the buses reach the Campus before 8.45 a.m. so that all the students and faculty can be ready to attend the classes at 9.00 a.m. The buses leave the campus at 4.30 p.m., which helps all the students to reach home early and safely.

The college has an Alumni Association formed with the aim to unite the alumni of Royal Engineering College for the welfare of RCET and a global platform to share their experience and maintain a healthy relationship with each alumnus throughout their life.

Several clubs are active on the RCET campus, initiated by enthusiastic students. The Green Club is a good example, motivating students, distributing low-cost kits, conducting workshops, and organizing competitions.
