As you have got 9926 rank in comedk which is really good rank. RV College of engineering is one of the best colleges in Karnataka
according to 2018's closing rank in round 2
for mechanical it was around 3371.
But you can try as closing rank may increase
never lose hope
you can try in other good colleges too
like MSRIT, BMSIT,BIT,MVIT etc.
there sre chances that you can get in these colleges
i hope you get in one of the top colleges and be successful and happy with mechanical engineering

Huge congratulations on that rank! The cutoffs of COMEDK 2018 in MSRIT was:
CSE 450
ISE 800
In BMS cutoffs were: CSE 971 ISE 1696

You can get the EEE branch at rv College and bms College. I will suggest you to apply for CSE in Rit and pesit. You can get CSE at these colleges. If you want the top college then go with the rvce option.

First of all congratulations on securing good rank in Comedk exam. As per your rank you will be able to get RV College of engineering but you will not get CSE branch or ECE branch rather than that you can get civil engineering, chemical engineering, bio-technology. Hope it helped you.

RV College of Engineering is one of the top colleges to take admission via COMEDK, and hence has a very high cut-off. The cut-off for ECE was around 850 and EEE was around 2,500 last year. This year's cut-offs are also expected to be similar. So given your rank, you will not be able to get admission in electronics.

There are good chances for you to get CSE in PES, south campus.

Unfortunately, your rank 11036 in KCET is not enough to get you a seat in R V College of engineering as it has very high cut-off and for computer science branch you have to get rank above 570. With your mentioned rank and category you can get CSE in only two colleges who accepts KCET scores and these are
- SKSJT Institute of Engineering, Banglore
- Dr B R Ambedkar Institue of Technology, Banglore

RVCW boasts modern infrastructure with well equipped classrooms, state of the art labs, spacious hostels and abundant green spaces. it provides a conductive evironment for academic and personal growth.

College Infrastructure
When I graduated, the ECE building was falling apart. The library was understocked as well. I see they've made improvements recently so its better now. The Wifi was unreliable and the gym was subpar. The labs were well stocked though. The food used to be good in my first year but declined along the way.
Placements are exceptional but training could be functional
