Hello.

If you want to get admission in RVCE through Kcet then you must have to score 40% in the exam.  When you score the mentioned percentage then you can have some hope of getting in through KCET. However, as the ranks and cut offs keep changing each year ,it is not easy to predict what the select cut off would be for various categories. So just try to be above the previous year's cut off to try to be on the safe side.

Admission to the course of MCA at MSRIT is provided on the basis of KMAT or Karnataka PGCET – anyone entrance exam is mandatory. The eligibility criteria is stated below:

Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in degree with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Computer Applications/ Business Statistics / Computer Science/ Computer Programming as one of the elective subjects (45% for Category-I/SC/ST candidates)

For RVCE, the candidates are  shortlisted on the  basis of KMAT scores for RVCE Bangalore admissions.

The eligibility condition is provided below:

  • Cleared BCA or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree.

OR

  • Cleared B.Sc/B.Com/B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation

Hi,

RVCE EEE will be the best option as they offer the best placements feom any college in Bangalore. The faculty there are well qualified than any other college there. The number of companies coming to RVCE are more than 100 since 2015. The other colleges mentioned are not that good and the placement records aren't great. The companies coming there are less than 60. So RVCE will be a great option.

I hope this helps,

All the best

BMS (Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah) College of Engineering, as well as RVCE (Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering), are good colleges in education-wise. But, if you are more focusing on placements, then you should go for RVCE for the MCA program as it has very good placement performance in recent years. The stats of rvce show good growth in the placement department as compared to that of the placement of BMS college.

Hope you got your answer. Thank you.

Dear Anubhav Thakur,

Pursuing a Bachelors in Technology in the stream of CSE at MSRIT is better than joining for ISE at RVCE. CSE is the future of technology and has a fair chance of having a decent placement. You just need to wrap yourself up with coding and taking up new skills and keeping yourself upgraded with coding knowledge. Wishing you all the best for your future.

Hello candidate,

Congratulations on scoring a high rank in comedk. Yes you can get cse in rvce with this rank. Congratulations!!

Hi aspirant,

If fee is not a matter of concern so it also rules out ROI which is a primary factor in selecting colleges. In my view the only thing you should see now is where you can get maximum number  of attractive packages and job opportunities. So following below is the order I would recommend you to prefer:

  1. RVCE- IS
  2. Jadavpur-ECE
  3. VIT-ECE
  4. MIT- CSE
  5. BIT Mesra - IT
  6. JMI- CSE
  7. KIIT- CSE

If it is Jadavpur University College then fine but if any other affiliated college push it down just above KIIT.

Hope it helps!!

Yes., you will get EC in rv when if you had special reservation quota like KM , RM  and 371,then only you will definitely get. other wise, not definitely

Hello Aspirant

Congratulations for getting such a good rank. With this rank you will definitely get into any college. So that means you can get RVCE College through your rank in Karnataka PGCET MCA. Even if you are a non Karnataka Candidate, you can easily get this college. So hope for the best and attend the counselling. Hope you get your desired college.

Hope it helps you.

College Infrastructure

When I graduated, the ECE building was falling apart. The library was understocked as well. I see they've made improvements recently so its better now. The Wifi was unreliable and the gym was subpar. The labs were well stocked though. The food used to be good in my first year but declined along the way.
