    I enjoyed my college life.

    College Infrastructure

Yes,it's a good infrastructure college with good facilities and equipment laboratory are quite good and have all necessary facilities available in library. The facilities regarding sports are pretty competitive and hostel with wifi are available.

    Academics

The academic are great. The faculty is fantastic. The teacher are helpful and solves the doubts of students. They provide all necessary information about latest studies. The curriculum of course is updated timely.

    Placements

We have good placement in this college mostly software related companies come to hire CSE, ECE, IT stream students and less for other branches students. Average package offered to students is 3-5 lakh.

    Value for Money

The cost per year is 90,000. I think it's worth.

    Campus Life

Campus Life is awesome. I feel I could not get this life anywhere in future.

    College Infrastructure

Classrooms have basic necessities they also have a projector and computer available. Many classes also have a smart board installed in them which is quite helpful. College library have good collection of books and magazine and there is also a university library in campus for more books. Wifi is available inside the library only. There is no sports facilities available inside the college they are available inside the university campus. Living spaces are kept clean and canteen food is also hygieni

    Academics

I am currently pursuing btech in CSE because I like it. Teaching is good enough there some good teachers present here. I think curriculum requires more updation and new methods should be used. College also provides many workshops, seminars and classes to make you industry ready which is quite useful.

    Placements

Placements in my department are quite good. Most students get placed in the very beginning of placement season itself. Average package is around 3-4 lpa. Highest package was of 29 lpa provided by a tech giant. There are many job offers in range of 5-9 lpa also. You will get placed if you work hard enough.

    Value for Money

Students from All India Quota are require to pay about 50k per semester whic decrease and becomes around 44k for last semester. State quota students are required to pay only half of AIQ students. There is also a NRI quota open for all in which you can get a good branch with comparatively bad rank also.,it requires a deposit of 1.30lakhs at the time of admission which get refunded after the completion of course also per sem fee is around 10k higher than the AIQ students.

    Campus Life

Campus life is good enough and it's placed close to the main city. There are many places to hangout also there are many places nearby to plan trips for. Many events are also organises throughout the year. Teachers are quite helpful but leaving some exceptions. I think place is good enough to handle some emergencies. People are also friendly and good natured.

    Others

Be prepared to do self study as there are also many strikes throughout the year also try to take part in events as it will be really helpful for your college experience.

A college that provides a good library & faculty cant be bad

    College Infrastructure

The mechanical department of the college lacks equipments/ devices or are not in proper working conditions. For example, most of the heat and mass transfer laboratory equipments give absurd results or are not operational at all. If I were to rate the infrastructure on separate grounds, engineering library:4.5/5, Mechanical labs: 2.5/5(being trained upon obsolete equipment), classrooms: 2.5/5(as of now 3 students are made to sit on one bench), hostels: 3/5(not enough vacancies), sports complex:4/5

    Academics

My field of study is Mechanical Engineering. The college does update the syllabus at intervals of a couple of years yet I feel the students are not given proper industrial exposure. The students are to look for internship by themselves. Most of the faculty members are however undoubtedly scholars in their field and level / method of teaching is exceptional.

    Placements

It has a poor record of placements for Mechanical department. Not many campus placements for this division, whereas exceptional offers come for other departments like CS, IT and the revered branch of Safety and Fire Engineering department. The highest salary almost every year since my admission to this college(3years) has gone to Safety and Gire Engineering.

    Value for Money

Academic cost annually are about 1 lac being of All India Merit and under Open category. The goid and accomodation expenditure further adds about 5k every month. The only reason I rate value-for-money 4/5 is because of the exceptional library and a good number of professors who really do a hood job.

    Campus Life

Probably the best thing I feel in the college is that there is always some activity ( seminars by some experts/ workshops/ exhibitions) going on. You would also find students who are much pro active on extra-curricular activities be it sports, engineering or arts as the college supports these upto a certain level. I, for instance, had enrolled myself for German learning course under the University from the department of Foreign languages which was a fairly good experience.

    Others

The worst thing is the indulgence of violence in student politics in the campus. Student politics is crucial but violence is not a reasonable approach and there doesn't pass a single semester without any event of a violent activity due to political differences.
