So you are thinking that if you appear for MAT may 2018, the colleges may not accept it. Well, here's the thing these colleges will take MAT score only as a formality but not as a absolute requirement at the time of admission and they don't judge your chace based on this. In this case you better try and apply for those colleges without MAT score or if they insist keep some fake score and attend interview. If they find you worthy enough they might give you a chance or permission for delay in submitting your MAT score to them. That shouldn't be a big issue, but there's risk in that. I say it's worth a try.

Or there is another option you can 1st try and contact with the colleges team and ask them to suggest if ther's any other way around and if they respond follow their lead.
