SRM Ramapuram Facilities

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram campus facilities and infrastructure include a central library that has various books on science, engineering and humanities. The institute has an air-conditioned auditorium, separate hostels for boys and girls, transport facilities, a bank facility and medical facilities for its students.

Other facilities and infrastructure at SRM IST Ramapuram include catering facilities, banking facilities and Xerox & DTP facilities. SRM IST Ramapuram buildings and infrastructure include main block, new BMS block, new admin block, basic engineering block, PG block, girls hostel and boys hostel.

Boys Hostel
SRM IST Ramapuram hostel facilities include a separate hostel for boys and it is geographically separated to ensure privacy. Each hostel room has its study hall and the boys’ hostel have a separate department store and internet centre. It operates around the clock, offering free healthcare services to students, staff, and the general public.
Girls Hostel
SRM IST Ramapuram Girls' hostels on the campus are geographically isolated to ensure privacy. The girls' hostels include kitchen facilities and dining halls for the students. The girls’ hostel has solar heaters that provide hot water. The rooms in the girls’ hostel have a study hall, department store, and internet center. A food court, canteen, DTP, Bank/ATM, internet, telecom center, supermarket, sports, entertainment/recreation, and gym and yoga halls are among the other girls’ hostel amenities at SRM IST Ramapuram campus.
Medical/Hospital
The University has Students, staff members, and the public treated at a multi-specialty/general hospital on campus for general, medical, and dental problems. The hospital has emergency services such as the Causality department, Trauma care, ICU services, Maternity care, 24-hour pharmacy, lab services, Ultrasound & X-Ray facilities, ambulance services, and emergency operation facilities are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the hospital in the institute.
Library
SRM IST Ramapuram library facilities include a wide variety of books, magazines and journals that is helpful for the students to gain knowledge.
Sports
The University has infrastructure including sports equipment for outdoor and indoor games on campus for the students.
I.T Infrastructure
SRM IST Ramapuram has well-equipped IT infrastructure facilities for the students.
Cafeteria
The University has a cafeteria that provides high-quality food and refreshments by supplying both vegetarian and non-veg dishes to the students.
Auditorium
SRM IST Ramapuram has an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 750. The auditorium is equipped with public added system and in built amplifier speakers. An open auditorium with a seating capacity of 3000 is attached to the auditorium. The campus is also housed three air-conditioned Seminar Halls with a seating capacity of 200 each.
Transport Facility
The University provides transport facilities which include bus and other transport facilities for the students and staff members.
Alumni Associations
SRM IST Ramapuram has A full-fledged Alumni Association is functioning with the strength of more than 400 members from India and countries abroad.
Convenience Store
The University has a modern photocopier with reduction enlargement facilities. The institute has a full-fledged DTP section that includes a network in Pentium IV computers with a scanner, laser printer, color printers, and other necessary software. The DTP section provides services to students in the compilation of their project reports.
Banks/ATMs
SRM IST Ramapuram has City Union Bank (extension counter) and the working hours are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and Monday Holiday.

Yes,all the infrastructure and facilities in my college,and there are free WiFi inside the campus and there are so many cafeteria to relax,my college campus is a drug free zone too and the environment are good

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is smaller compared to the KTR campus but it sure is an amazing place to be in The campus is small as it is in a congested area inside Chennai But the Hostel and the College is not that bad

I would really recommend this college.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at SRM Institute of science of technology, Ramapuram Campus, is well-developed and provides students with most of the facilities needed for academics and campus life. The classrooms are generally spacious, clean, and many are equipped with projectors and air-conditioning, though some older blocked still lack modern teaching aids. Labaratories, especially for computer science and IT, are updated and functional, while a few core engineering labs could benefit from newer equipment. The central library is a highlight, with a large collection of books, journals, and digital resources, along with well-maintained reading spaces. Auditoriums and seminar halls are fully air-conditioned and well suited for cultural events, workshops, and guest lectures. Hostel facilities are available separately for boys and girls, with amenities like study halls, kitchens, solar water heaters and internet access, though food variety can be inconsistent,
