Both the institutes are pretty good. The branches of CSE and IT are pretty similar too. If you have an interest in Higher studies than I would suggest you to choose CSE. The placement of both colleges are good for CSE and IT branch, but are a bit better for NIIT Neemrana. In NIIT, you will be provided with notes and video lectures. Attendance is not that important in NIIT, whereas you need 75% attendance in Symbiosis. Neemrana is in a remote location but is full of campus life with very good faculties. Symbiosis faculties are good and average. Both college gives much importance to internships.

Both colleges are same in many aspects like placements, facilities, infrastructure, labs, faculty ect.. choosing any college among the both will lead you to the great career paths. Given that you were waitlisted 10 in the second merit list, there is a very good likelihood that you will be able to clear the waitlist in the next merit list, based on previous year's data. In order to be eligible to pursue B.Sc Hons from Symbiosis Institute the general eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).

Admission is against qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI). Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI) will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates.
