All the necessary infrastructure is present. We have smart boards in our classrooms and in lab we will be able to practice with the authorized apps with all security permission sand we will have Wi-Fi in hostel but not in class room. Living spaces will be cleaned I am studying
I'm have completed 2nd year and I'm from ECE department. It's my interest to join ece .the quality of teaching will be based on the teacher we choose.. The curriculum will be always updated and many courses were given on recent developments
Placements were good. 90 percentage of the students will be placed.highest package is nearly 36 lakh for ece department and for Cse it may be more than that. Max Cse people will be placed very well. We will be well trained for the placements
Value for money is average for food and as per academics it's suits.. My course costs 3 lakh per year... All the academic backlog will cost 6000 per subject and for Softskills it's cost nearly 12000. I hope it's very high
It's the place to enjoy very well as well as to study. We will see all types of people and get to know all types of traditions.. We will get more interacted when we join in clubs. We will celebrate all the festivals.. Teachers will help us not only in subjects but also problems in our personal life. The place where we will be is safe. Yeah we have hospitals near by
the infrastructure facilities are very good. we have well maintained buildings for classes and lab separately. there is very good good hostels.we are given 50gb wifi per month.there are good number of canteens and cafeteria.
the academics system is flexible,we have FFCS,we can select our own faculty for our course at a particular time, all faculties are phd holders. There is good support for research and any other student initiatives from faculties.
placements are good,as a trend the computer students and its related branches get placed easily, whereas the core companies visit to the campus.only the skilled students are selected.don't lose hope but kepp working.
it totally depends on you.there are enough oppurtunities given . we need to make best use of it to learn, and use it.ROI of investment is possible for skilled engineers, fees of around 10 lacs for four years is worth it.
the campus life is amazing,we meet many people from diiferent parts of the country.w have different clubs and two major fests VIBRANCE and TECHNOVIT.and many club activities and programs takes place round the year.
it is verry nice college.you will have the best college life.
On my view, the infrastructures are really good. There are 3 hostel blocks with sufficient rooms and clean washrooms. The food is ok. Sufficient well maintained classrooms with projectors, and mainly WiFi.
I am studying mechanical, the way to teaching of course changes from teacher to teacher. Some are really good and friendly. The curriculum gets updated according to recent days. Attentive in class and taking notes is enough to score good marks.
The placements are good for computer science students. For mechanic its not that high as only few gets good job. But 80-85% will get placed in some job. The placement over here is easy but not the expected salary or job.
The fees is really high. Its nearly 2 lakhs per year. The value doesn't worth the quality of education here.
The life is really good. We have playgrounds, auditorium, food spots.... Location is really good and peaceful
Yes it does. The labs are very well equipped. Since it is a new campus, it has a great infrastructure. The classrooms do have smart boards which are frequently used. Library is amazing. The hostel has great facilities as well.
We follow a FFCS system and the college has given us the liberty to choose our teachers, subjects and timetables as per our whim. The college also has an atmosphere of healthy competition which makes learning fun.
As far as placements are concerned,VIT always does a good job. Unsure about the package but there is 100 percent placement every year. The highest package usually goes to cse branch. Since I haven't undergone t placements yet,I'm quite unsure.
The money is worth If and only If the student gets admission under category 1.
Campus life is pretty bad. There is very strict intime and gender unnecessary descripancies. A 9PM intime for men and 7PM intime for women doesn't give the students enough time to enjoy campus life or to engage in activities . The location and the campus is very safe however.
College has a very decent infrastructure. Nature and surrounding is a very pleasant. College has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Library have latest collection of books and study materials. Living space is clean and food are hygienic.
Academics in this college is the best in the entire state. I am currently pursuing bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering as it is one of the most demanded branch. Quality of teaching is very good. Current curculum is very much updated.
Reputed companies visit college for placements drives. Highest package goes to computer science and engineering branch. On around 40-50% students are placed every year through campus drives with an average package of 4-5 lacks per annum. College is very supportive in placements
Indeed it is value for money. Even though the fee is higher than other colleges, they compensate it with good Infrastructure & academics & club activities. I personally think it is value for your money
Campus life is very good (especially for couples). We have got very good Library, 3 auditorium, swimming pool, basketball, hockey, handball, amphi theatre, volleyball, cricket, throwball courts. Of course some good place to have food.
Overall it is good place to study if you dont get selected in IIT,NIT,IISC,IIIT,BITS. You can have a overall enjoyment, academics and extracurricular & fun in between. Especially great for NRI's and you find alot in the campus
infrastructure over here is mind blowing , coming to sports here u can find all kind of sports including american football . library is the intreting part of the clg it is maintained in a standard of a international library
in academics if u cope up with the teachers u can come with....icant say that your study makes job ready but i assure that it sharpens your mind and u can come up with an intellegent mind mostly you will be placed .
iam still persuing b.tech so i dont know better abt placements. but comparing to the year base placements are good enough.inside the campus will be experiencing a lot of exopsure towards car teams, robotics team etc... so u will be placed
it costs 3lakhs per year in 1st catogery and its worth of it(including hostel and mess fee).
just blank u will enjoy a lot. u will find it like heaven when u compare it to other colleges
just join this clg bro.
The infrastructure is very good. And they maintain it very well. I joined tge college because of the very good maintenance and infrastructure. The living spaces are clean and the food is also hygiene. Everything is well maintained.
I'm studying ece. I don't look into those things clearly as I'm not interested into academics much. I think they are updating everything in our curriculum. Yeah as per my knowledge what we study here in college is enough to get a job immediately after our graduation.
As of i heard from my senior the placements are doing very good in our college. Totally 96% are getting placed. And the highest was 40lakh package for a cse student. I don't about all the placement process but from my senior. He says it's very easy and the college was very supportive for them.
Mine is 1.95 lakh per year as per the academics. Yeah i feel it's worth
The best part is you can have a outstanding environment with the students because of the ffcs system. The worst part is. There is no fixed friendship around. The location is very good. Yeah it can handle emergency..
I personally feel it's the best in chennai. For academics and other cultural activities too.
Our college is outstanding in infrastructure. It has high class hostels, mess, grounds, classrooms. Coming to classes , classes would be conducted in a digital way which would help us to visualise and understand the topic in a fully fledged manner. Hostel rooms are very excellent. They provide us a feeling like staying at home. AC and non AC rooms are available.
Academics in our campus is very good. Teachers here motivates us and makes us understand the subject in a well manner. Relative grading is considered for some of the courses which helps us in improving our grades and skills.
Placements in our campus is outstanding. Almost everyone would be offered with a job at the last through campus placements but the only thing differs is our salary package which would be awarded based on our skills.
My course costs almost 2 lakh per year. Yes I feel I am getting my money's worth as everyday I would be a new concept and way to approach a problem. Teachers here are highly talented to guide us in a right way.
Campus life would be very joyful here. You will be meeting new friends and making new relations. Teachers here provide us with a platform through which we can share our ideas and thoughts. It is safe to join here.
One of its kind, in terms of infrastructure vit has its own mile stone, classes and labs are well equipped and furnished but in hostles some changes has to be done regarding washrooms and wifi is okay!! Ull be getting a max of 500kbps.
I'm persuing electronics and communication engineering(ECE), here and I've heard it's has its own reputation equivalent to IITs. Yes, curriculum is well updated and yes this study makes one job-ready.
No 1 private institute by MHRD, ARIIA 2019 award, in top 550 of Qs world University , 1st University in india to get 4star by qs The international ranking agency. I think these r enough to say placements standards.
Mine costs almost 2lpa and my hostel costa nearly 1lpa so by summing up it would be total of 3lakhs per annum. And I personally feel it's a bit too much for people of middle class but I can say if ones gonna join here it's worth paying.
My campus life has been amazing. I'm in the end of 3rd year now and i can say I'm completely satisfied with my campus life, events workshops camps fests and what not everything is amazing here and one find his true self here.
It's indeed a good college will all the high tech labs and has all the amenities that you require. The campus is an eco friendly campus and full of trees. You have prefect labs with the latest equipments.
The subjects are updated to the recent syllabus. No worries about the teaching cause it has the best of the best facultys. The grades are put on according to the class average. The teaching is through presentations.
100% placement takes place. The students get placed in good companies with good package. The placements for the computer science department is the best cause there is a demand of many Cs students. Core placements are also available.
Hello Aspirant,
Pursuing a CSE branch (like AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity etc.) at VIT Chennai with a 74,000 VITEEE rank is unlikely in the first few rounds as these branches have high demand and close in the earlier round around the top 30,000 - 50,000 ranks typically. Your chances could improve in later rounds or through a Category Upgrade, depending on the availability of seats and cut-off trends for the current year. Keep an eye on the official updates for the counselling and also on the other campuses or check for other branches like IT or core CSE which you might be open to. VITEEE cutoff 2025
Hello Alok,
After uploading your admit card and marksheet on the VIT Chennai portal, the next step like uploading your ID photo usually appears within a few hours to a couple of days.
The exact time can vary depending on the admission portal’s processing and verification. Sometimes, the portal updates in batches, so you might need to wait 1 to 3 days for the next option to become visible.
If the ID photo upload option does not appear even after 3 days, it is advisable to contact VIT Chennai’s admission helpdesk for assistance.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
