VIT Chennai Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

The college does have basic necessary infrastructure and facilities, but being an IoE, maintenance of the same is not being met as efficiently as it would be expected. Classes for the 1st year students are equipped with ACs, but there often exists a problem of displaced tables and chairs. However, the classrooms for the subsequent year students are spacious, ventilated and have immovable seating arrangements. Due to the location of the campus, transportation to the college is very problematic

Being an Engineering college, in a span of around 7-8 years, VIT school of law has established itself as an reputed Law college in the Southern Territory, but even if so, the quality of education can accommodate an improvement being more focused on contemporary law since the 1st semester and also exposing the students to quality debate culture and MOOT society since the very beginning should be considered. There exists a serious lack in communication between the authorities and the students.

Being in it's early stage of fame, placements are constantly being pitched in with new companies eventually turning up looking forward to recruit top notch brains of the law department. The number of recruiting companies for the Law school is bound to increase multiple folds in the near future.

An approximate estimate of fees for the BBA LLB course is around 1.6 Lakhs P/A. I expect improved facilities in the near future as it is visible that soon, VITSOL will be one of the top Law colleges in the country . Depending on individual interests, if one wishes to, can make their money worth while.

Again, depending on individual outlook one can either enjoy to the fullest or remain aloof and despise the environment of the college. A huge campus area facilitates its pupils to enjoy a wide range of activities such as a swimming pool, a gym, a eatery, football field, cricket ground, tennis, handball and basketball courts etc.

Nature and surrounding of college is good. Good ambience. Library has all the necessary books. Food is hygienic although some canteen foods are a bit costly. College has got necessary sports facilities as well.

I'm studying B.Tech in mechanical engineering as I'm interested in the field. The quality of teaching is good. Our college academics is one of the best in the state. The curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in the field.

Our college has 100% placements. Many reputed companies visit our college for placements. Computer Science students usually gets placed for the highest packages. Around 50% of the students gets placed with packages of 5 Lakhs per annum.

we have good infrastructure. The campus is really beautifull.we have separate academic blocks.fully air conditioned library.good maintained hostels.we have 50gb of wifi per month.there are 4 canteens in the campus. with a incampus restaurant

academic curriculum is good. we have a advantage of FFCs(fully flexible credit system),where we can choose our own faculty for our required courses.different students have different slots that enables for interdisciplinary learning.

placements are pretty decent.the higesh package from our campus was 41.6 lacs from microsfoft.the placements for core branches is average.people are placed based on the skill only.also cgpa matters to some extent.

yes it is worth to join the college,you will get a all round exposure.learn many things in both academics and extra curiculars. it is ok if u get through first category.but , for lower category u need to work hard.

the campus life is really amazing. we have different programmes and activities taking place.we have two star events THe VIBRANCE and TECHNOVIT..two inter college competitions for culturals and tech fest.also we have many clubs to join and participate in different activities

Fully equipped with all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. The maintanence of the classrooms are kept upto the mark. The library is one of the trademark in our college. It almost covers up an entire block. Hostels and the sports centres live upto their expectations. The living spaces and food are well maintained and hygienic.

Iam doing my B. Tech MECHANICAL engineering. A well reputed and highly experienced faculties make up a highly standardised teaching. Our curriculum aims at the industry 4.0 which provides all the required knowledge and information to survive in an industry like environment. This highly ensures that you'll be with a job after your studies.

The placements rate of our college is comparatively high than other colleges. It is even higher than some of the NIT's and IIT's. Every year 40-50 of the people gets placed for a salary package of about 4-5 lakhs every year. College is very supportive in placements.

The cost of your course per year depends on the VITEEE exam's rank and the availability of the seats in the course that you prefer. The money is absolutely worth as for the infrastructure and the facilties they provide.

This college has a lot of free spaces with a lot of greenery around. It isn't a congested place with a lot of buildings. Students can do engage in a lot of academic related club activities as well as other miscellaneous clubs. Our college is situated near the IT corridor of Chennai. The college is provided with a health centre which can handle emergencies. It is absolutely a safe college.

The proctor system is such a unique system that is present in our college. The selection of timetable and staff and courses made it a very flexible system.

Good classrooms and laboratories. It has a big center library.sports ground is also available in the college.Hostel is good and active also Wi-Fi facility available 24hours food is also provide good quality.

Facultys are very good.they are well qualified and experienced faculty.they teach very well.curriculam is updated time to time.study focuses on placement and also fully flexible system available for students.

Placements is also very good most of the students can placed in one are another companys. Companies like google etc.., visited.For computer science engineering students differently will place in the 3th year itself.

Fee is very less and also it gives you great facilities in the college.

Facilities in the college are all good and they maintain it nicely. We have all kinds of books in library and they provide wifi for everyone who stay in hostels Also they separate computer lab for browsing.

I'm studying electronics and communication engineering,quality of teaching is good but cooperation between lectures and students is bit low Our curriculum updates as per the developments in n the field,which makes us job ready.

For placements there are many software companies that offer job,but hardware are less highest salary package would be around 25lac and avg will be 6-7lac, placement process is good and college is also supportive

College is good in everything but when some problem pops up only few know the solution for it

College has a very decent infrastructure. Nature and surrounding is a very pleasant. College has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Library have all necessary equipment. Library have latest collection of books and study materials. Living space is clean and food is hygien

Academics in this college is best in the entire state. I am currently pursuing bachelors degree in computer science and engineering as it is most demanded branch and heightst placement goes to this branch. Quality of teaching is very good hear. Current curculum is very much updated and includes almost all the recent developments in the field.

All the necessary infrastructure is present. We have smart boards in our classrooms and in lab we will be able to practice with the authorized apps with all security permission sand we will have Wi-Fi in hostel but not in class room. Living spaces will be cleaned I am studying

I'm have completed 2nd year and I'm from ECE department. It's my interest to join ece .the quality of teaching will be based on the teacher we choose.. The curriculum will be always updated and many courses were given on recent developments

Placements were good. 90 percentage of the students will be placed.highest package is nearly 36 lakh for ece department and for Cse it may be more than that. Max Cse people will be placed very well. We will be well trained for the placements

Value for money is average for food and as per academics it's suits.. My course costs 3 lakh per year... All the academic backlog will cost 6000 per subject and for Softskills it's cost nearly 12000. I hope it's very high

It's the place to enjoy very well as well as to study. We will see all types of people and get to know all types of traditions.. We will get more interacted when we join in clubs. We will celebrate all the festivals.. Teachers will help us not only in subjects but also problems in our personal life. The place where we will be is safe. Yeah we have hospitals near by

the infrastructure facilities are very good. we have well maintained buildings for classes and lab separately. there is very good good hostels.we are given 50gb wifi per month.there are good number of canteens and cafeteria.

the academics system is flexible,we have FFCS,we can select our own faculty for our course at a particular time,all faculties are phd holders. There is good support for research and any other student initiatives from faculties.

placements are good,as a trend the computer students and its related branches get placed easily,whereas the core companies visit to the campus.only the skilled students are selected.don't lose hope but kepp working.

it totally depends on you.there are enough oppurtunities given . we need to make best use of it to learn,and use it.ROI of investment is possible for skilled engineers,fees of around 10 lacs for four years is worth it.

the campus life is amazing,we meet many people from diiferent parts of the country.w have different clubs and two major fests VIBRANCE and TECHNOVIT.and many club activities and programs takes place round the year.

On my view, the infrastructures are really good. There are 3 hostel blocks with sufficient rooms and clean washrooms. The food is ok. Sufficient well maintained classrooms with projectors, and mainly WiFi.

I am studying mechanical, the way to teaching of course changes from teacher to teacher. Some are really good and friendly. The curriculum gets updated according to recent days. Attentive in class and taking notes is enough to score good marks.

The placements are good for computer science students. For mechanic its not that high as only few gets good job. But 80-85% will get placed in some job. The placement over here is easy but not the expected salary or job.

The fees is really high. Its nearly 2 lakhs per year. The value doesn't worth the quality of education here.

The life is really good. We have playgrounds, auditorium, food spots.... Location is really good and peaceful
