DTU Delhi All Questions

Candidates will be divided based on two regions (a) candidate applying from Delhi Region and (b) candidates applying from Outside Delhi Region.

(i) Delhi Region Candidates A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.
Reservation Provided 85% of total seats.

(ii) Outside Delhi Region Candidates A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.
Reservation Provided 15% of total seats

Hey, You can go for B.Tech program in DTU through lateral entry. You can fill the application form from the official website dtu.ac.in. The duration of the Degree programme is 3 years as you will be admitted directly in the second year of the regular B.Tech. Program.
The admission will start from 1st week of May 2020. The application will close in 1st week of June 2020. And then you will have to give a entrance exam which will be conducted in 2nd week of July 2020 for lateral entry. The registration process will be online and also you will have to pay registration fees (1000 INR for general category and 500 INR for ST/SC/PWD)
For eligibility: The candidates seeking admission to B. Tech. Lateral Entry Programmes must have passed a three-year diploma in any branch of Engineering awarded by any State Board of Technical Education / Diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Joint admission concelling committee (JAC)will conduct the admission for DTU.  The online form will be released on last week of may and the admissionin B. TECH will be purely on the marks of JEE mains paper 1.and for admission in B. ARCH score of paper 2 will be considered. Delhi Technical University (DTU) gives special privilege to the students of Delhi. As you are a Delhi OBC student thus you can easily get admission in DTU in your preferred branch even you score between 120 to 170 marks in Jee mains paper.

Make-upexam is conducted for the students who miss the mid-semester exams due to any valid reason.Some students are not able to have midsems So through make up exam they can show there perfomance.Back exams are held for end semester .those students who are not able to perform well in end sem can improve their performance by giving back exam. Those students who are not able to cross criteria of passing are eligible to give back exam.

Basically for judging you for fail or pass there will be a total count of your subject in semester 1 and semester 2, see yourself count total number of subject of your both the semester 1 and semester 2 if your failed subjects are more than your pass subjects then you will have year back, if total number of failed subjects are less than the total number of passed subject then you will have to give back exam for these fail subjects.

• You have to give the JEE (Main) exam.
• Admission is done on the results of JEE mains through JAC Delhi counselling.
