DTU is a very good university for the terms of placement , studies and infrastuctute. but like most of the iits or nits cse or it branches get higher packages. but  still many core pvt sector companys visited the campus placement according to the placement report of 2018. philips,

See though your rank is quite fantastic yet DTU has a minimum requirement of 60% in class 12th boards.

So I am sorry to say but with this marks in boards there is no chance you could make up to DTU.

It totally depends upon the branch you want to take.

See if you want a Computer oriented branch(COE/IT/SE/MCE) you need a rank below 45,000.

For branches like ELECTRICAL/ECE/MECHANICAL/CIVIL you need a rank below 55,000.

For rest of the branches a rank below 85,000 will be enough.

1st Delhi quota or not

2nd your category

Now if u r from Delhi quota general then it is impossible

But if u r Delhi quota obc/sc/St then u can get much better branch

Yes, PU marks does count for dtu admission for B.tech.

Last year the closing rank of NSIT for defence category student is 268983 for CS branch and  on the basis of your mentioned rnark your is far better then this so on my opinion you can wait for the conselling procedure to get this college.
