Given the option i would surely opt for NSIT cse as it's far better in terms of placement with regard to iit ropar and have perks of low competition in comparision to DTU but i does have a little less recognition due to dull administration

Yes you are eligibility for the GATE with the B.Tech evening program form DTU. Even if you are doing M.Sc/Technology also.

Generally, the ranks are the mostly important to get into any of these. But, if your marks gets increased after giving the improvement exams, your updated marks will surely be considered.

For DTU, the eligibilty criteria is minimum 60% marks in PCM with English as a compulsory subject.

There are two timings for M.Tech part time batch, one in the morning to afternoon hours(10am-3pm) and other evening to night hours(5pm-9pm).

The eligibility criteria for admission in DTU and  NSIT for Btech is that you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. English should be a subject too . You also need to pass each of these subjects individually.  Hence if you score good
