Last year cutoff for BTech biotech in DTU was 26,810 (JEE MAINS RANK) for round 1 of counselling.
By the end of counselling cutoff went to 35000 AIR.

There is not much difference between Computer Science Engineering and Software Engineering of DTU. Almost 95% of the course is same. Since Computer Science is a well known and sought after branch by many students, it has higher cut-offs. Otherwise both the courses are pretty much the same.

According, to JAC Delhi 2017 6th round of allotment below are the cut off for DTU

Delhi Region (General category)

You need to score more then 130 marks in JEE Main to get DTU in lower branches.

For CSE branch you need to score around 200 marks.

Outside Delhi Region
