hello,
if you can work very hard and seek good placement opportunities then go for electrical at DTU. EE branch at DTU is considered tough and very low scoring by students. of we talk of placements and internships, less core xompanies visit but there are many non core companies that provide various opportunities.
mechanical is one of the oldest and better branch at Manit ,it can offer exposure to real industries around. many good companies visit for placement. placements are good , classes are less so you can also prepare for other exams alongside.
both the colleges are very good at their places, so choose between electrical or mechanical , whatever college you take admission to, if the field is of your choice you will do great , whatever be the college, nd between these two, both colleges are good.
you just need to work hard in the field you choose , if you have interest in mechanical go for it , and if you feel you want to do electrical go for it , the field matters the most. if you work hard and excel in the field of your interest , the college wont make much difference.
so, you should make a decision on basis of your interest - mechanical or electrical.
hope it helps.
Dear applicant although both the branches opted by you, COE and CSE both are equally competent but considering the ongoing trends Computer Science Engineering stream would be a better choice and out of the college option chosen by you. Delhi Technological University is indeed a very good choice as per faculties, placements and all, however NIT Trichy is better considering future career prospects and assured CSE placements with package starting from 5-8 LPA.

Hello, I hope you are doing well
The fee for every category is same in DTU and it changes every year.
As of 2021 The fee is listed below:
1st year : 2,06,000
2nd year : 2,19,000
3rd year : 2,29,000
4th year : 2,36,700
You can get fee concession by filling the scholarship form and for SC category students it is very easy to get a scholarship so you shouldn't worry about that.
You will get your tuition fee back in your bank account after your scholarship file is approved by committee.
Hope this helps.
The tution fee of DTU varying year to year .The current institute fee of DTU for 1 year is Rs 1,90,000 and the hostel fee including mess is Rs 30000 per year. The total fee of BTech for 4 years is approx 10 lakh rs including institute fee, hostel fee and mess fee.
NSTU, DTU definitely have an edge over uptu colleges no matter how good the college is. Moreover the colleges have location advantage as they are in delhi also the coding culture their is very good it does not matter which branch you are in you can always enhance your coding skills as coding atmosphere is great there many students which top ranks in jee join DTU/nsut the only advantage you will get in cse from uptu college is that you will have a cse degree that's it but before proceeding for dtu/nsut make sure that many companies do not allow biotech students to sit in their placements so choose wisely.
YES there is definitely a procedure to get branch change after 1st year at dtu the complete information is available on the institute's website there are some boundations like you can get branch change only if you get you final seat allotment by not freezing you option which you have got also the basis of upgradation is jee main rank only and you should have vacant seats in your desired branch.
The exact placement scenarios can only be provided by the college and what others do is just speculate some colleges do not reveal their placements do their own reasons but talking about dtu the placement here is great in the cse related branches and many tech giants visiting here offer hefty packages but on the other hand core placements are not that good and most core students practice coding to get into tech companies overall the coding atmosphere at dtu is great which will improve your coding skills ultimately resulting in good placements since you are interested in cs,it,se only.
There are two things in this scenario if you take a lower tier college with cse then no matter how much you work hard you will not get a very good placements as companies providing high packages will either not come or they will not give high packages even if they come on the other hand since EP is a core field department so like in all other core fields syllabus is vast and you may not get time to code but here you should prefer dtu for two reasons first is the tag yo will get by joining the college moreover if you are willing to code then you will find time somehow or the other, moreover here the coding culture is great that will help you in coding but the only problem you might face is that some companies do not allow Ep students to sit in their placements(tech companies) so choose wisely but you can always go for off campus placements.
Assuming that you are from delhi itself so you can almost get any branch which you like in dtu ,nsut ,iiitd provided you have given your crl rank in the question so firstly choosing the college- you should go with either dtu , nsut as both are almost the same though due to more number of students in dtu competition is more so you will have to decide which college in the two you should join , now coming to the branch so it depends whether you are a coding enthusiast or a person interested in core if in coding go ahead with computer science and other branches related to it like software engineering and information technology etc. if you are a core person then decide which core sector excites you most like electrical, mechanical ,chemical ,civil ,physics etc and go ahead with your choice , talking about placements core placements are not that lucrative here in these colleges and for that matter in any college so you can even practice coding if you want a good package but want to pursue a core field otherwise cse placements are great in both nsut, dtu.
Ya the college contain necessary infrastructure ,facilities and eqipment . In classrooms, laboratories, library, sports centres and hostels we have all type of basic facilities like water coolers wifi facilities and many more and these all are well maintained and also are in good condition . The living spaces and food is hygenic and clean.
In the delhi technological infrastructure is a four hundred and fifty meter running track and hockey football grounds are also available volleyball ???? courts basketball courts and tennis courts are also in this University
The college infrastructure is best one among all the colleges I think in Delhi. The colleg itself is so big and covered I think around 160 acres with so many department and building. The Raj soin Hall and others buildings are amazing with the best infrastructure.
