Dear student,
You need to get your caste certificate from the state authorities as dtu and nsit are not centrally governed Institutes, they are in the hands of the state. So your caste certificate of up, whether it is issued by the central authorities or not will not be valid here. So get a caste certificate from delhi.
Hello aspirant.
Both Delhi Technological University(DTU) and the Netaji Subhas University of Technology(NSUT) are good colleges, has good placements, both intake admission through JEE mains. But NSUT concentrate on software branches placements comparatively and DTU concentrates equally on every branch for placements. NSUT is ranked 76 by NIRF and DTU is ranked 36 by NIRF. Hence I suggest you go for DTU biotechnology than NSUT Manufacturing Processes and Automation.
Hope this answer helps you.
All the best!!!!
Hey!
NTA has scrapped off the 75% criteria for JEE MAINS 2020 due to the pandemic . Else, youneed to write other university level or state level exams.
Also, now there are 4 oppportunities for the candidates to crack the exam as jee mains 2021 will be conducting in february, march. april and may 2021. First session will be conductiong in the month of feb 2021. To know more, visit here:

Hello
For DTU to accept your category (in your case sc category) caertificate yourcertificate must be issued by the Government of Delhi. There is an additional criteria that is that your caste must be mentioned in the list of caste issued by the Government of Delhi.
As long as these criterias are fulfilled you will not face any problem with your DTU admission.

Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know what should be your next step between jee mains BTech and msc from cupet.
I would say that it totally depends on what is your area of interest and what is your long term goals.
So, according to that you should take your decision.
Hello Candidate,
It doesn’t matter which branch you are in, you can still pursue your interest.
Also, the academics at DTU is good. Also, the number of companies visiting DTU will be more than NIT Kurukshetra.
So,It’s totally upon you, both the choices are good.
Choose wisely,
