IIM Amritsar Facilities

The IIM Amritsar facilities and infrastructure ensures the smooth functioning of the institute. The list of IIM Amritsar facilities includes a well-furnished and spacious central library, classrooms equipped with modern infrastructure, and an advanced computer centre. The non-academic facilities of the institute include apartment-styled hostel facilities with all recreational services, sports complexes, and healthcare facilities.

The permanent campus of the institute is currently under construction. So, the temporary campus has basic facilities for the convenience of the students and staff members. The facilities at IIM Amritsar for the permanent campus are being planned in a better and organised manner.

Boys Hostel
The institute provides hostel accommodation for the boys' students. The students are provided with 2 and 3 BHK flats on a twin sharing basis with various facilities like bed, chair, study table, cupboard, Wi-Fi, Geyser, recreation room, gym, etc.
Girls Hostel
Indian Institute of Management Amritsar provides hostel accommodation to the girls' students. Flats are available on twin sharing basis. All the essential facilities are provided to the students.
Medical/Hospital
The healthcare facility is provided to the students and faculty members for illness and emergency.
Library
The library is furnished with the best and finest book resources, both printed and in e-format, in management. The students can access print materials, magazines, journals, cases, videos, newspapers and many more learning resources from the IIM Amritsar library. By means of RemoteXs, the students can access the resources at their convenience.
Sports
Various indoor and outdoor game facilities are provided to the students on campus. The students can use the grounds of the institute to play sports like football, cricket, badminton, basketball, tennis, volleyball, etc.
I.T Infrastructure
IIM Amritsar has a well-maintained IT infrastructure for the students and faculty members. The whole campus is enabled with wi-fi.
Cafeteria
IIM Amritsar facilities include a cafeteria that provides hygienic food to the students. Snacks and beverages are also available for the students at a reasonable price.
Classrooms
At IIM Amritsar, the classrooms are equipped with modern and high tech infrastructure. The classes have digital podiums, projectors with a screen, an interactive sound system and all modern facilities to help and aid the students with modern education. The classrooms have net connectivity and power sources for the students to connect their laptops in the classrooms.
Gym
IIM Amritsar has a gym inside the campus premises that can be used by the students to stay fit and healthy.
Auditorium
The institute has a spacious auditorium inside the campus. It can be used to organise seminars, lectures, events, functions, etc.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at IIM Amritsar is modern and well-kept. The institute offers high-speed Wi-Fi throughout academic blocks and hostels, which is very useful for case studies, projects, and online research. The computer labs and analytics labs have updated software and tools used in MBA programs.

It is a decent college.

College Infrastructure

As the permanent campus is still work in progress many of the facilities like sports and gym are not provided yet. Otherwise the campus is good. Mess food is also good. There is cafe in the vollege too.

College Infrastructure

Overall infrastructure structure is good, but there is no gym, no playing area except a TT table in mess, sports complex is still under construction. Classes are big and fully furnished. Hostel rooms are small but fully furnished along with AC.

The CAT test is the initial requirement for admission to the IIMs. The Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview are the following phases (PI). The WAT and PI are the primary selection factors for admission to IIM MBA. They take place following the release of the CAT results.

K J Somaiya Institute of Management for MBA or IIM Amritsar for MBA
