We have highly qualified teachers. Their way of teaching is such that freshers will not feel new frog in the pond. We have implemented concept of flip classrooms. Teachers are so cooperative and make learing a fun experience

Since it the time of recession and market conditions are not that great still our college is trying its best to bring best companies to our campus. Till now few well known companies have hired students from the campus

The infra is in the very beginning phase as the college's new campus is yet to be fully functional as of now. The wifi is really bad, the space to live are good but the quality and hygiene of food is not something you expect in a top B-school, it is below par

Not too many permanent faculties and a lot of visiting faculty means that the availability of faculties are not that easy. Finance domain is one of the most over looked department in the college, whereas in MBA, you want to focus more on finance

The placement reports are often and mostly inflated. Yet again there are a very limited number of core finance companies that visit the campus. 100% of students were placed and highest offer was from Microsoft of around 64LPA.

The course fees has been revised to around 19-20Lakh for the programme, which is way too high considering the facilities that are being offered. Switching to new campus has increased the cost which doesn't seems justifiable

The new campus is in the beginning phase and still has not really been operating with every aspect opened. Given a time of 2-3 years the infra can be really good. Location is way too far from the nearest airport as well as the railway station and there are not any major medical facilities available in the city itself

Operating out of the temporary campus at Sambalpur University, IIM Sambalpur's facilities include a full Wi-Fi enabled academic block and hostels, an ac gymnasium, a 200+ seater-auditorium, outdoor volleyball, football and cricket grounds alongwith spacious classrooms and a library. The classrooms house all sorts of equipments necessary in delivering a superior learning pedagogy. The library houses an immaculate collection of books, journals, databases and a Bloomberg terminal.

Academics are supplemented by an institute wide industry-academia engagement which brings industry stalwarts into the classroom to deliver and supplement a practical element of the industry alongwith the theoretical standards delivered by the faculties. Apart from in-house faculties, students are taught by faculties from top B Schools in India such as IIM A, B, C, Indore, MDI G, NITIE, etc. Classroom teaching follow a case-based methodology and is aided by experiential learning.

Placements have been historically recorded as 100% for both Summer Internships and Final Placements with companies visiting campus and hiring students from all the domains such as ITeS, Consulting, BFSI, Operations, Logistics, HR, Sales & Marketing, etc. Companies visiting have offered highest packages of 20-30LPA (domestic) whilst international placements have recorded a high of 58 LPA over the years. The average has steadily risen to the range of 11+ LPA.

With an all inclusive fee of 13L for 2 years, IIM Sambalpur provides one of the best ROIs in its league of MBA colleges. Although a new IIM, IIM Sambalpur has been quick to establish its name in the corporate circles and students do not need to borrow a huge sum of capital to pay for their college fees. The students count is also lesser than its contemporaries which makes it a great place for learning and mentorship all the while providing the best of the placement opportunities to its students.

Campus life is always energetic as an MBA aims to impart a holistic development of an individual. Students, apart from their academic endeavours, take part in various social, cultural and sporting events alongwith various corporate competitions that are hosted by companies. Faculties are never shy of helping students choose their career paths and are thus instrumental in shaping a student's life in ways more than one. IIM Sambalpur bears testimony in forging the spirit of peer-to-peer learning!
