Infrastructure and faculty members in the IIM sambalpur are good. It is a good campus. The college has a modern library, and there are big sports grounds here. High-quality labs and classrooms are available. Good quality food is available in our college cafeteria, but it is expensive. There is a very good hostel near the campus and good quality.

All the lectures in Indian institute of management are M.Tech and PhD holders. They have a lot of experience in the technological field. Their teaching quality is good. They follow advanced level teaching methods. All the faculty members in IIMs are very helpful. Our course curriculum is correlated to GATE syllabus which is helpful in preparing for the GATE exam and high studies.

Placements in the college is not good. Very few reputed companies visit for recruitment. All the companies that are visiting are related to the IT sector like TCS which is the mass recruiter. Almost 35 to 40 students get placed. A similar number of students were placed from our senior batch. Around 30% of the students were placed. TCS and IBM are some of the companies visiting for placements. Internships are mandatory for all students. The placement cell of the college is not good.

IIM sambalpur as a average infrastructure, Wi-Fi all over the campus, 1 Library, 2 Sports Fields, 5 Lecture theatres, 6 classrooms, 2 IT labs with more than 180 systems. The cafeteria is open till 3 am in the midnight. There are 4 hostels, 2 for girls and 2 for boys having 30 rooms on each floor and there are 4 floors in each hostel. The rooms are single occupancy so that students can have their part of privacy. Overall average infrastructure.

IIM sambalpur has an amazing lot of faculty for each subject you choose. Students get good industry exposure and are sent for industrial visits. Many of the faculty members have more than 9 years of industry experience which they share through their experiences during class hours. In the first year all the classes have a maximum of 70 students (as per our batch), and in the second year, they are distributed chosen subject wise.

Iim Sambalpur too has a placement cell which has been working over the past years for the students. Every single student from the our batch got a good internship. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, CCD, 94.3 Fm, IBM etc. Had been picking up students from this college. The previous batch had a 98% placement, the highest package was 55 L and the lowest was 5 L. This year there has been an increase in the good number of companies coming to the campus and the more number of students was taken by Capital First.

Everything is good except the Auditorium which actually looks like a lecture hall. Lack of playground with improper infrastructure. Hostel are good with single room occupancy but with common toilet. Nice and calm environment which I never found anywhere else. You see the beauty of nature specially the sunrise and sunset. Mess is good but not much option to eat. And majorly in events where you get variety of stalls. Rest everything is good in the college.

Best experience I had was in IIM S. The kind of faculty and the teaching methodology was very interesting and smart. Faculty members extremely qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality extremely good and they are update to date about current affairs and they always try to get new techniques to teach each and every concept. Practical exposure by projects and presentations are also good.

Not much options in fields. If we talk about marketing then you usually get place in banks or insurance companies for Relationship Manager post. Very rarely get placed in 2 or 3 companies which belongs to sector. The overall problem is the type of sector we target for placements. The students don't get much option marketing. But if we talk about finance yes they do get and also with the highest paying package. Then follows worth operations then Hr and at last marketing. Placements are average.

The Infrastructure of the IIM sambalpur is excellent. Especially hostels. The campus is spread over 250 acres and is isolated from main sambalpur. Very good Wi-Fi facility and classrooms are world-class, with volleyball, basketball and football grounds available in the college. Have good infrastructure for the college.

Faculty members are pretty decent, few of them are outstanding. The curriculum is pretty up-to-date, which covers Harvard case studies. We have guest faculty from the eminent background and with notable experience. All of them postgraduates and teaching quality is pretty decent. They update the curriculum as per the industry needs, and it makes student competitive with relevant skill sets.

Placements are more than 90% in my batches. More than 50 companies visited IIM sambalpur. The average salary package offered was 7 LPA, the minimum salary package was 12 LPA, and the maximum salary package was 57 LPA. However, most of the companies which visited were of marketing and sales profile and then from finance profile. The placement office is trying very hard to bring newer companies, and 30% of offers were from consultant roles.

The college has all the necessary facilities and infrastructure in its newly built world-class campus such as the library, incubation center, open-air theatre, football ground, badminton court, and many other facilities. The classrooms have 3 types of board: plain board, digital board, and blended board. Also, speakers are connected to the ceiling, to be loud and audible for any participant speaking in the class.

I am studying Master of Business Administration in general management to get more scope in the managerial roles in the corporation. I have operations management as my major. The quality of teaching is good enough to understand the subjects from the basics. The curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments. Also, the type study methods we developed through the course makes us job-ready.

The placement is good taking into consideration the establishment year of the college. The majority of the students are placed around 60% and the processes are going on. 24 LPA was the highest package offered in the operations role till now. Last year 16 LPA was the average. Yes, the placement process was easy and pleasant for me. The college was supportive.

The college has recently shifted their students to the permanent campus so most the facilties are still under construction. However, the basic funciton of the college like the classrooms and hostels are functioning well.

The institute is one the most premier and prestigious institute in India as most of the faculties are with very great experience. Also, the college holds many academic competitions throughout the academic year improving the student's exposure.

The college is also recognized as one of the best among the business schools in terms of placements with hundreds of companies lining up each year to hire the students from the campus with recently Microsoft hiring a student for more than 50 lakh INR.

I believe the fees of the college is a bit overinflated. The current fees doesn't justify the number of placement packages for all the students and also the permanent campus is not yet completed with many basic needs not meeting up to the mark as per the fees.

The new campus doesn't have as many facilities as the old campus but it is understandable in its current state. However, the students here involve themselves with plenty academic and non-academic activities to keep themselves engaged.

Campus life is always energetic as an MBA aims to impart a holistic development of an individual. Student, apart from their academic endeavors, take part in various social media, cultural, and sporting events along with various corporate competitions that are hosted by the companies.

The college infrastructure is quite good with all the facilities available. There is cafe, library and river. I love to stay in this state of art infrastructure which has newly built rooms, classes and mess.

Academics is good as the professors as well as the course outline is wonderful. The courses are just perfect as a business school should have, also the professors make the class quite interactive and engaging.

The placements as well as summer internships are good here. 100% placement rate. All the big companies come here to participate in our placements and also the placement Committee is quite supportive in every aspect.

It's fun here

College is an art of living campus handcrafted with local Sambalpur culture. Famous Sambalpuri Saree design are there on walls and local culture is properly showcased. It is having all amenities from bicycle to departmental store.

I am doing MBA in General Management here. The faculty here are top notch who have done their PHD from top bschools and having rich industry experience as well. Curriculum is updated every year according to latest trends and demands in market but keeping foundational course in place.

Placements are good having companies visited campus for diverse domain. We have good alumni base that helps in bringing good companies in campus as well. We have 100% placement with highest package of 64 lacs in Microsoft.

It is one of the best ROI college among top bschools as having least fees among other IIMs with high quality of teaching and placements. It is worth it and creating value in the career of students and help them in developing sustainable attitude towards learning.

Campus Life is all about late night brainstorming sessions on case studies, assignments and projects. We celebrate each festival together with fun and happiness. We win together, we loose together,we weep together and we celebrate together.

The new campus is top notch and provides all the amenities for students. The food in the mess as well as other outlets such as Domino's provide good food quality and the food variety in mess is also maintained consistently.

The teachers are knowledgeable and a flip classroom approach is used to teach the students. The seniors are quite helpful as well and the students can reach out to any faculty for any doubt whenever required.

The college offers placements in all the sectors and domains and has quite good industry relations. Many big shot companies in sectors of FMCG, finance, manufacturing etc. visit the campus every season and offer high CTC packages.

The fees structure is fully justifiable for the course and students get more than what they pay for.

The campus life is quite happening and every festival is celebrated with utmost enthusiasm.

I would definitely recommend the college to any aspiring MBA student.
