How is IIT Dharwad mechanical engineering in placements?

Mechanical engineering has high demanded branch . Placements are very good in mechanical engineering
But regarding salaries, the highest mechanical engineer salary was reported to be 123,546 in 2015. The lowest starting salary for a recently graduated young mechanical engineer in the same year was 53,000 .

Hi ! It seems that you are not going to get any IIT with any branch. It is so because your rank is very high. So better not go for counselling. Instead drop 1 year and prepare for JEE advance once again, if you want to. So hope you understand

Out of 16 IITs only 10 IITs offer chemical engineering .Package in Chemical engineering depends on your capabilities. You may get average salary of 7.5 or 8 lakh package per annum depending on the companies and your skills. And you can also earn maximum package of 50 lakhs
