Hello, No as you have 78% in 12th so you won't get any kind of difficulty in placements because 99% companies are asking for minumum 60% throughout.

There are hardly 1-2 companies who will ask for 80% throughout otherwise maximum criteria would be 75% and hence you won't be able to get any difficulty.

Hi,by taking into account the results from last year, the last rank from neutral gender that went into IIT Delhi was 4508, in BIOCHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND BIOTECHNOLOGY (5 year course). This rank is for neutral gender,general category and after 7 rounds.

You have a good chance of getting a call from a PSU considering your GATE rank. Also, you have a very high chance of not only merely getting call from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, but also converting the same, provided you do well in your intervies. Besides this, you have an amazing CGPA which will give you an edge over the other applicants.

See, both are premier institutes but I would suggest IIT Bombay, which is the most popular choice among students for M.Tech in CSE. Research facilities and academics and faculties are good in all the old IITs, so are placements. But do remember, Mumbai is the 'financial capital' of India, hence a number of companies flock there. The average package is around 12 lakhs and you can get as high as 25 lakhs. Also, if you are interested in doing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, expect very good recommendations. IIT Bombay has consistently been ranked high in various international rankings. 

The IIT-B culture is surely incomparable. The picturesque campus is in Powai with lakes and hills. Techfest, IITB is the largest science and technology festival in Asia. Also, Mood Indigo is Asia's largest cultural festival. Studying at IIT Bombay is surely a matter of pride!

You should score minimum 700 to get admission to the IIT Delhi, and the rank should be around 1000 to 1200.It's a bit hard to score this marks so you have to work hard to get this college.Its a very prestigious college and you will get ample opportunities.
