Hello Aspirant,

There is no way to get free education in the mentioned colleges. You have to prepare for the respective exams and you will get admission in those colleges only if you get a good rank. Do not look for short cuts, do proper studies required for it and then join these colleges. Then only you will be able to properly utilise the facilities available over there.

  Good Luck !!!

hello ,

Well, when you  will get in  IIT it was on the basis of your GATE ranks so definitely it will be difficult .all the IIT ,they have their own syallabus everyone has different syllabus so placement as well they have a competition between them which will be number one in placements so they will not allow you to shift from one to another.it may if you have some serious medical issue then they can allow with agreement, otherwise not possible.

All the best!!

Hello,

  • The placement scenario of 2 years MSC Mathematics students in IITs.

  • If you want to become an iitian my good wishes with you always.
Let me discusss about the exact scenario of MSc Mathematics students in IIT in short:

Students of integrated MSc ( who get enrolled after HS and want to do dual degree program i.e, a five years course BSc + MSc) get more advantage than normal MSc students.

Many different types of Scholarships are available if you have a good academic record beside that you can avail many other facilities as a student of IIT.

If you have a 1st class record from secondary to MSc 3rd semester then only you can face interviews of leading companies who want to recruit MSc students as their employee.

Among them very very few students only get placed finally.

An average of  6% to 12% get placed in some leading companies. 40% to 60% students go for MPhil and research. And the rest goes for competitive exams and all.

If you want to continue your higher studies and research then it is the best place for you because you will have a suitable atmosphere for your further studies.

I Know some professors who have done their MSc, MPhil, PhD and all from IIT(ISM), Dhanbad and they are working, teaching, building the nation from there.

Finally if you enrolled yourself as an iitian believe me the best option for you is to go for further studies and research because you will get all the facilities from there to complete your academic side. Central govt is paying huge amount for these brilliants and scholars. So use those facilities.

Thank you.

All the best

As you have a medium gate good score with your rank and score in gate and as you have reservation of OBC so we can't expect a good IIT ,but we can expect  a good NIT  .so you can hope many exams which are suitable for gate .
