Going by 2021 cutoff, closing rank for Computer Science in IIIT Delhi was 5850 (other state) and for Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence it was 7463 rank (other state).

Since you have an sc rank, that will be considered during counselling which means you have a decent chance of getting both CSE and CSE with AI in IIITD.

Your 12 mark have no role in predicting your jee rank. Earlier candidate with 75% in 12 was only alloted to write jee.  But now all candidates with 12 can write jee mains. A general candidate should get above 88 percentile for qualifying. All those who qualified jee mains can gave jee advanced. IIT admission is based on jee advanced score. For getting IIT a general candidate should score above 98 percentile . With conceptualized and systematic study you can crack jee advanced and secure admission in IITs.

It is quite hard to predict the exact situation as it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, the difficulty level of the paper and the preferences of the students.

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that that your CRL is around 47 K.

The closing rank for EWS category is usually around 14 K and hence it is quite difficult to get admission into IIITD .

It is quite difficult to get into any top NITs for CSE or IT.

You can get into Biotechnology in NIT Durgapur and core courses into NIT Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh etc.

yes you have a little chance but for that you have to wait till 3 counseling and still there is no surity you"ll get that so put many preferences while opting college you got a good rank and will get some good nits and IIIts

Hope you are doing good ! Aditya, everyone will put their own opinion in format of you but you should be alert in this case . In my suggestion , IIIT Delhi is one of the best institutes to pursue B. Tech in CSE as it has great faculty members and the placement stats for CSE are far better than any institute. During the 2022 placement drive, CSE average salary stood at INR 24.34 LPA.. i will suggest you to go with iiit delhi rather than nit nagpur and all. One more thing is that skills matter more than the college . You should be hardworking ,no matter in which college you will go

A rank of 3866 in the Joint Entrance Examination Main is a great rank and you can get admission into Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi or IIIT Delhi in almost all the branches present there. Some of the branches that you may get according to your category are:

The rankings of IIIT Delhi are way too high, however if we consider the cut-off for IIITDM Jabalpur for various branches in 2021, the ranking for Scheduled Cast categories in the 6th round of the counselling were:

CSE: 3809
ECE: 5665
Mechanical: 7567
Smart Manufacturing: 9741

So, you won't be getting into IIITDM Jabalpur with an SC rank of 16696.
