My wbjee general rank is 20164 and obc rank is 1028. Can I get mechanical engineering in Jadavpur University?

The cut off for admission in the Jadavpur university, Kolkata in the mechanical branch was 4406 rank for the OBC- A category and for the OBC-B category it was 1300 rank in 2017.

Can I get admission in Jadavpur University through JEE MAIN, my JEE MAIN 2018 rank in ST category is 19784.

You have to first check the cut off of Jadavpur University. If your rank is nearby the cutoff there are high chances that you will be also get selected because in most cases there is not much change in cut offs. For cut off you can check on college pravesh.

You have 100% chances witj all Government colleges under WBJEE.

Jadavpur university Kolkata is sureshot gettabke for you for all brnache slike ECE, CSE, IT, Chemical, Construction and Civil engineering.

Cutoffs ranks have been within 9000 for OBC Category and hence high chances.

College Infrastructure

Considering its reputation and ranking the infrastructure is poor. Few toilets are unusable. We don't really have any kind of sanitary machines, not even a medical shop in university campus (fyi we have a whole sbi bank in the campus).

One of the Best College in India.

College Infrastructure

The University is built on fifty to sixty acres land. In our physics department we have three buildings one is for undergraduate and the other is for post graduate and another one is for both undergraduate and post graduate.We have labs for students of both undergraduate and post graduate that include Optics lab mechanical lab and electronics lab. Our department also has a canteen. We have a library for physics department that contains variety of books like Mathematics books, physics books, and a few collection of computer science books.
