On the basis of your rank and 2017 counselling
you must try on those stremes Civil,Mechanical,Construction, Electrical,Food, Instrumentation, Mechanical ,Metallurgical, Power and printing Engineering streams.

You very high rank you will not get in CSE as it the opening rank starts from 6 and closing rank was 136 as per last year. This College is pretty good so you should have very low rank

process of admission:

admission to UG programmes in FET is through the WBJEE, followed by counselling.

Firstly you need to identify your most preferred and least preferred courses.Look for cut-off of most preferred course in JU.Do not spend more than 15 minutes in doing this. That's the upper and lower limit of your targeted achievement.Invest your remaining hours in deep practising

Unfortunately Jadavpur University takes students based on ranks from WBJEE only and not from your JEE Mains rank. Its a state university and not a central university. You can take IIEST Shibpur if you want to stay near Kolkata. IIEST Shibpur has been converted to Central University few years

Yes there is 134 seats in civil and 135 seats in mechanical engineering injadhavpur university.

College Infrastructure

Considering its reputation and ranking the infrastructure is poor. Few toilets are unusable. We don't really have any kind of sanitary machines, not even a medical shop in university campus (fyi we have a whole sbi bank in the campus).

One of the Best College in India.

College Infrastructure

The University is built on fifty to sixty acres land. In our physics department we have three buildings one is for undergraduate and the other is for post graduate and another one is for both undergraduate and post graduate.We have labs for students of both undergraduate and post graduate that include Optics lab mechanical lab and electronics lab. Our department also has a canteen. We have a library for physics department that contains variety of books like Mathematics books, physics books, and a few collection of computer science books.
