In Jadavpur university you may get all other branches except CSE, ECE, IT , EEE, Mech , instrumentation engineering

sorry to say at this score it is not possible to get jadavpur university even for your category. howver you may have chances in other government colleges of west bengal like purulia, murshidabad, engineering and leather technology college kolkata etc. however every year cutoff changes.

Yes, if you appear for JELET examination, you can get admission in Jadavpur University Kolkata in the engineering streams as a lateral entry in the second year of engineering course in various engineering disciplines. That's how the diploma students get into the University.
