The infrastructure is absolutely beautiful. Lots of trees, rescue dogs, birds and water bodies. An absolutely beautiful place to study in. Highly recommend. The living spaces are clean, well-maintained and libraries are excellent too.

The teachers are fantastic! Everyone is highly helpful and the course is very detailed and structured. The curriculum is updated and includes the recent developments in the field. Also, the guest lecturers are top-notch too. It absolutely makes you ready in all aspects.

Most of the students earn a placement as soon as they graduate. The quality of placement therefore is good. The Engineering department receives the best placements from JU and the entire placement process as I heard is smooth and easy.

Worth the value for money. It’s extremely cheap, affordable with regards to the quality education that you receive at JU.

Amazing campus life.

Faculties are outstanding.Labs are well equipped with instruments.Library is so much big and have all kind of books.Sports are in god level.Wifi smart boards are available here.Food is hygenic and the spaces are so neat and clean.

I'm studying metallurgical and material engineering.The quality of teaching is excellent.And the placement of every department is beautiful.Like if you try you can easily get a job with a good salary.

If we come to placement I can definitely say don't take stress of it.Placements of any department is beautiful.Don't worry if you get a lower branch(i.e printing,food,metallurgy).Just keep doing your things and work hard.

You will be surprised to know that the package of 4 years B.tech is only 10K.This is so much cheap.So If your financial condition is not so good you don't have to worry about it.Thats why Jadavpur University is best in all the aspects.

Campus is beautiful and large.You will explore many things.Arts,gym,Mountain Hiking,Drama varoious of clubs are there where you can easily develop your passion.So not only for study JU is also best for campus life.

Yes we have everything but the toilets are not that much good. Very unhygenic, unhealthy of few buildings. We have free wifi throughout the whole campus. There are lot of food corner and they are very much hygienic.

I am doing my honours in english literature. The quality of teaching is just amazing. Professors from oxford Cambridge and santinetan are here. They are very helpful and friendly. Yes what they teaches us will always help you in the future jobs.

If I say about engineering and science's placement it's quite well but there is almost no placement oppurtunity for the arts people. Some of company came with limited seats and took only the best ones

The best thing about jadavpur is the course cost. It takes 1250 for admission and 950 per year fees. I saw many universities and colleages taking lacks from students but this is the only fair college.

Campus life here in jadavpur is the best. You can enjoy sanskriti night with Indian ocean or you can spend your evening chatting with your friends in worldview chottor. The best days are waiting for you.

JU have good infrastructure, having all required facilities like Drinking Water to Electricity , Board and Chalk to Projector in Every class and all required equipments. Laboratory contains all type of equipment required and all type of machines or computers in each. Each department contains it's own Library instead of CENTRAL LIBRARY. It has Sports Centre , 2nd Campus have CRICKET GROUND also , with well maintenance. In case of cleaning I would rate 3.5 out of 5.

I'm studying B.E. in METALLURGICAL AND MATERIAL ENGINEERING , because it is best branch I have got during counselling (GMR 1338 in 2018 ,when 90% domicile is not imposed in COLLEGE) . Yes Our curriculum is updated every month , includes all developments in field , in each sector . Yes, this college makes you job-ready, this is quality of this college.

Placement is very fine . Approximately 60-75% students got placement from college or PPO. Highest package offered is of 58LPA (by GOOGLE to a student from COMPUTER SCIENCE) . Average Package of CSE is 20.77LPA and Metallurgy is 5.67LPA . This is data of 2020 BATCH.

Value of Money is Outstanding , Is is best in INDIA ....No any other college give you this type of ROI . All dept. Cost per yr. is 2855₹ only except IT . For IT , it will be 10k approx . It worth 101% , Just Imagine You're in CSE with 10₹ 4Yr. Fee and got placement of 20LPA .... How's good ?

College Campus Life will got rating 6/5 from my side . Because their is Freedom , lot of freedom . Here everything is in hand of Student Council , Their is no pressure of attendence like 75% or 60% , even some students came college only one lab or with 20-25% attendance , they sit in semester exam. All students , teachers , staffs are humble . Since last few Yrs. This college lost Diversity , that's very worst for colleges . It is 101% safe. Yes it handle all type of emergency.

Nothing to add more , Only bad things in college is that PROTEST , Yeah it is bad for some kind of people , but when you look deeper , it is only for STUDENTS , protest are doing by student for student benefit , not for others. But, people don't listen about this , direct they judge. Once you came to college , you never think to go out of it. OUTSTANDING ?

The campus has it's library which offers books from different domain for students.Furthermore, it has a seminar hall where all types of webinars and workshops are held.It is above birla high school, Kolkata.The classroom is quite big and have desktops to support presentation.The collage has renovated during the lockdown and it looked even more good.

I'm studying BBA in the collage.The quality of teaching is really good so far.There are some good faculty members who are very engaging and will help in every aspect.The curriculum is up to date as per Jadavpur University.

Placement assistance is offered along with some on campus placement.The highest package is somewhere around 10.5 lacs.Most of the students don't go for placements due to very less salary on offer , or job not worthy enough.

The course fees are quite high. Approximately the individual has to pay around 1.2 lacs per year. The money quite worth taking into consideration the experienced faculty and other features.

As I have heard , The collage campus life is quite good and learning environment.There are several events like invitics, inter collage sports , business summits and webinars etc.

Yes . Living space is clean. Food is cheap and hygienic. WiFi is available in the campus with high speed. They are well maintained. Each department has their own libraries plus there is a central library where we can get access with anyone kind of journals, papers, books.

I am currently pursuing BE chemical engineering. Proffessors are very friendly, we can clear doubts anytime. Curriculum is updated properly and is studied in a proper manner. And ofcourse study will make you a job ready person.

Quality of placements is good. No one remains as a loser. Highest package is offered by Google with 23 lpa. Average salary is between 5-12 lpa. Placement process is a little bit tough but college are very much supportive, one can able to get through it.

Overall in 4 years of time course one have to pay 4 lakh. Although one can get scholarship of 65 thousand. It is the cheapest college you will find in India.

Jadavpur University has 100% placement according it's all three faculties namely Arts, Science and Engineering. MNCs to navaratna companies come for the placement drive. The placement committee is one of the most efficient place coms across the country.

The annual fees is 990 and semester fees per term is 44. An ivory university and fee way less than you would expect

With many active clubs and societies, Jadavpur University is hands down the most engaging campus.

Of you get through the university (cut off are pretty high or with WBJEE ranks within 700), you have received your greatest reward.

Labs have all the necessary equipments, but in terms of infrastructure JU is average. You can understand that this is a very old college and funded by state government so it doesn't have the best infrastructure. Also, the location being in the heart of the city the campus isn't that big. The biggest problem is hostels are not allotted to everyone. Most students have to stay in paying guests, messes and flats.

Syllabus is similar to rest of India, very old. Also, publishing of results takes way too much time. Late publishing of suply results sometimes hamper the final year students. Practicals are taken seriously and having 100% attendance in labs is mandatory.

Placements are one of the biggest reasons that many students take admission in JU, leaving their seats in NITs and sometimes IITs too if they don't get desirable branch. Placement pages of each department is available on facebook from where stats can be seen.

Jadavpur University is the best in terms of ROI. To mention, our semester fees are 64rs, and we get our entire BE degree within Rs11k.

Campus life is very vibrant in Jadavpur University if you take up a branch in the main campus. I don't have much knowledge about the Salt Lake campus lifestyle but only a few branches present there. In the main campus there is Arts and Science faculty as well. You can enjoy fests of those faculties too. Almost all the clubs are in the main campus. Now regardless of the campus, diversity is less here. Most students are either from Bengal or Bihar

Jadavpur University is a completely ragging free campus. And seniors are very helpful. This is an amazing college, really.

Jadavpur university has all the necessary equipments which are required for my course which is required for the better understanding of the subject. Classrooms are good, labs are well equipped. There is unlimited wifi in the campus.

I study mechanical engineering since has a lot of prospects both in jobs, research and higher studies. Most of the teachers teaches well and entertains individual doubts promptly. The course makes us job ready.

The quality of the companies are very high, the number of students places every year is very high. The average package is good and the highest package from our college was most probably from the electrical engineering department .

The course costs a little over 5000 rupees per two years. As compared to other engineering colleges, the fees is less, and the money is definitely worth it, because of the teachers, and friendly enviroment.

I am happy to be a part of the college. The teachers are good, students and seniors are friendly, the environment around is friendly, the campus is big, and it didnot take a very long time for me to adapt to this college environment .

The college has very good infrastructure and it is spread over a huge area of land. There is free wifi available in the campus and all the classrooms have projectors which is very useful . Jadavpur University has a library, canteen and hostel as well.

I am currently studying an undergraduate course in mechanical engineering at Jadavpur University.The quality of teaching here is extremely good and all the professors are very friendly. Our curriculum is very up to date and it definitely includes all the recent developments.

Jadavpur university is itself known for the brilliant placements that they provide. All the branches have very good placement records with the CSE branch having an average package of around 20 lpa. 85% of the students in our college get placed.

Engineering at Jadavpur university costs you very little amount of money. 4 years Undergraduate course here costs you only 12000 rupees in total.I feel that studying here is definitely worth it.
