The infrastructure is pretty good considering it is an Open University. Quite satisfied with it. The living and food spaces are quite clean. And the classrooms are maintained. The buildings are clean as well.

Absolutely outstanding. I am pursuing Hons degree in History and we have the best faculty. We have one of world's best military history scholar as our Head Of Department and all the other professors are equally qualified and educative. They are extremely student friendly.

Although, I am in arts background, the placements for engineering students from JU is outstanding. I have friends who testified this and the faculty for the departments are also very supportive and educated.

It's an open university. And is extremely affordable.

Jadavpur University was always been my dream college, I am highly glad that now I am a student of JU and I have the opportunity to give the review of my institution. Infrastructure is very good, the buildings, the grafittis and the labs.

Teachers are highly educated and well qualified, a huge number of students crack GATE with great rank.Teachers will help you grow and learn many things from and out of the syllabus, the practicals classes are great

Placement is too high,more than 90% students get placed in great jobs, many psus, hpl recruit students regularly every year and if you love coding then many tech companies also give you a chance to crack the companies.

It is too cheap and affordable for all, 11000 for 4 years in Chemical Engineering

College Infrastructure of this college is really very good. The college has very good laboratories and classrooms are also well-equipped. Hostels are provided at a very low cost but omg they are very decent to lead a student's lifestyle.

Jadavpur University has very good faculty members. Currently I'm studying BE Chemical engineering and this branch specially is a heritage of this university. Syllabus is well-updated with enough laboratory classes.

The quality and quantity of placements at Jadavpur University is outstanding. The CSE branch every year gets 100% placed. Other branches are also well placed and companies are always eager to hire students from this college because they know we r well taught.

Jadavpur University is a Government funded University, not a private one. So, per year we have to pay a very mere amount of Rs. 2400. It is the cheapest college probably of India. And the value for money or return on investment ratio is very very very high.

The campus life at this college is beyond imagination. There are several clubs like music club, chess club, painting club, science club, mountaineering club etc where students can join and engage with it. The location of this university is very good and transportation is so easy.

My experience at this college has just started. I won't exaggerate but this is the best college of West Bengal and one of the best in India as well. Everything in this college is so good that one can never forget the years he/she spent here.

The college has all the necessary equipments and facilities to help you expand your creativity and knowledge. Wifi is excellent. The college is pretty clean and the food is hygienic. SO that doesn't seen to be a problem.

The college is one of the best engineering colleges in India. So the curriculum is pretty updated and the students are very competitive. It makes us job ready for sure.Im studying chemical engineering as I want to pursue aeronautical engineering in the future and it does have a lot of things in common.

Placements are top notch for all the departments. But the effort needs to be from once own then placements are easy.The companies coming over here are great and pay pretty great salaries.Its a great choice overall.

This is truly amazing.Nothing comes near this college.For four years I have to pay 12000 rupees. While many private institutions and iits fee near 8 to 10 lacs

I am a bengali and our campus is predominantly bengalis so it's not a problem fitting in.But non residential students might have a problem. But it's not colossal.

Infrastructure could be better if college fundings from the government was better.Laboratories,libraries,sports club and ground, hotels, WiFi facilities etc are present..but conditions of hostel rooms are poor and accomodations.

Academics has taken a bit of a step down because of the pandemic and the online facilities.Due to this situation academic activities like practicals and lab work are unavailable to the students which is pivotal in any engineering curriculum.Although the teachers are of some of the best reputations and experiences... providing teaching experience through slides and presentations are tedious and some teachers are not well versed with that way of teaching and so it has taken a blow.

Placement is comparable to any other top tier colleges in the country.Core branches have particularly good placements compared to many other colleges.Departments like Chemical and Production Engineering have stood the test of time and students from these departments bagged dream placements like 17-19LPA to many companies.Average placement packages of these sectors are also commendable ranging from 6-9 LPA.

Overall fees of a 4 year BE program for a non IT field is around 11k rupees...and average placement package for CSE is around 20 LPA... so value for money is better than even IITs.... placements of other fields are fabulous as well compared to many tier 1 institutes.

JU is best known for its campus life... students spend time in JU splendidly with no pressure of bullying or ragging from seniors.There is little to no ragging in JU and even if an unfortunate event happens regarding ragging, strict measures are taken against the student/students responsible.Teachers are extremely helpful and will embrace anyone with a thirst of knowledge.Even 1st year students can work under certain professors to have experience with research work.

Overall it is one of the best colleges for Btech in not only West Bengal but all over India as well.Good rank in Wbjee examination just might do the trick.And everyone here in JU are always ready to welcome new students every year with utmost love and support.

Being from this college I must honestly admit that it does have necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipment . the classrooms , laboratories , sports center and hostels all are well equipped with WIFI , and all the facilities are being used by the students to help them to develop in a holistic manner ..there 2 libraries I must say one is the general one and the other is departmental which caters to the needs of students and prof. the living spaces are pretty clean and the food is hygienic

I am pursuing my BE in Mechanical Engineering , I would say that the quality of teaching is excellent under the departmental teachers , also I would like to add that the curriculum followed by JU ME ; is different from NITS,IITs, we as UG are introduced to our core departmental subjects from Sems2 thereby giving us a good exposure to this stream of Mechanical Engineering (ME) .. undoubtedly it makes us job ready;studying in TIER 1 COLLEGE we can say with pride that our seniors are doing wonders

Being from a TIER 1 college and a core branch in ME , I would say that the highest LPA offered under our branch is 17.6 lpa and the avg. LPA offered is around 7.86 LPA ..added on CORE companies visit our campus on regular interval . and the overall Highest Package bagged is 65 lpa , it was given by Atlassian ..branches like CSE ,IT, EE, ETCE,IEE have an excellent placement record of 8-9 lpa + as average,The CSE JU is comparable to IITB CSE ..placements of other branches is also pretty good 5lpa

What can I say for my love ( JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY ) it is one of the cheapest engineering college all over India where u pay around 5210 for 2 years in B.E courses and 30,860 for 1 year .. IT being a recently introduced doesnt get much funding by the govt. yes indeed my money is worth it paying 10K for my entire BE course ( 4 years ) and getting placed in a top notch companies .Moreover the quality of prof is just EXCELLENT , all pass outs of IITS , IISC , and foreign universities !

Being struck in the COVID pandemic i failed to enjoy some part of my college life but I can say something for sure JU is an experience not to be missed ..student teacher relationship is so friendly that u can call a spade a spade with them , thanks to our alum reach that none of our student goes unplaced ! I would like to say at the end if one doesnt get IIT with a good branch JU is still an option which caters to your need .. calling yourself a JADAVPURIAN or JUnite still adds on a alot of weightage while you are roaming around the Eastern India. I can say for sure u look into any top research organisation u would undoubtedly get one JUnite serving there .our seniors or teachers have always been into news now and then for contributing to the field of Science and Technology . Well the infrastructure of the college is above Management of the college is working on it & it is going to be better in future.Classrooms having a capacity of around 50-60 students.Have a big central library having a lot of books available for all branch students.4 canteens are available inside the campus.Good connectivity for the college within Kolkata.You can find huge diversity there.There are lot of students from Bihar,West Bengal, Chattisgarh & from many states.Yes the campus is hygienic.

I am studying MBA there.The teachers are well qualified.Jadavpur University Academics are full of relevant subjects.The classes are regular.All professors are also regular in classes.Quality of teaching & methodology are also very good & up to date.Got good projects which improves the learning process.For each semester one has to give two class tests.The teachers are also good in behaviour.You can approach to any teacher for you doubt clearance.This college helps you to develop oveall skills.

The placements are really good.Each year a lot of students has been placed to top MNC companies as a Market analyst,HR, Business Associate etc.The college provide their students the internship opportunities at Chittaranjan Railway Works,TATA etc.About 90% of students got placements through campus selection.Average salary figur is around 4-6 lakhs per annum.The highest package was given to CSE & IT students.The placement process is easy & pleasant for those students who are focused to their aim.

Talking about its fee structure,you have to pay 2,600 for your first year if you are doing engineering & looking the fee structure I think it is the only cheapest college in the country who provide excellent education with low fee structure.The Jadavpur University fees for M.Com programme is INR 1.16 lacs and INR 3.10 lacs for the MBA degree.The University also provide bank loans for needy students.They also provide students the industrial experience to get job.Yes value of money spent is worth.

Yes my college has all the necessary infrastructure,facilities, and equipment.The laboratories are very good along with libraries,clubs ,sports centers and hostel facilities.The canteen is also very good and food is also very clean and hygienic.

The college prepares for higher examination and teachers are very good and experienced.They are highly qualified and teaches very good.The curriculum is updated according to me and includes all the recent developments in the field.

The placement in this college is excellent.Most of the students gets placed with a good amount of CTC or lpa.My college is really very supportive and also helps in on campus placements.Many PSUs and other excellent job offers come for the students.

Yes,college have very old and gold infrastructure.. Facilities are very supportive to their students..college have all their equipment whatever required..our classroom,lab,libraries,sports club and hostels are are all used and well maintained.living spacies are also clean and food hygenic..

I am studying power engg because I want to get jobs in power plant area.. teacher's skill is very much effective for students..some are supporting mentally apart from curriculum syllabus.. My curriculum is not so updated and doesn't include any recent developments in my field..But yeah,i know what ever my professor teach..and get selected for Aditya Birla group as a final job offer..

In my view,if anyone willing to do jobs..this college supports well to do so..In crisis of core job, this college provides core jobs too..IT sector jobs are just like tier 1 colleges..60-70 percent get placement..highest salary from my department in 2021 batch is 15 lpa..Average salary is 4 lpa..my college is so supportive regarding placements
