It's a hygienic, clean place with necessary modern facilities. There are lots of washrooms for both the gender even some gender neutral toilets, pick up cars for PWD stuffs and students , lifts , water atm.

This is one of the best Indian universities academics wise. Recently this was ranked the 2nd best Indian University after Punjab University by a famous international survey.It ranked 1032 in world's best universities list

The placement program for engineering faculty is premium. There are boards and placement cells for this who are quite active. Very recently arts and science faculty also opted for placement cells to improve the placements.

Its a very student friendly govt. University with very less amount of fees. The payments and tuition fees are very cheap. And the best possible service is provided. Stuffs and teachers are quite cooperative. For example I have to pay just 1210 rs for a whole year of masters.

Campus life is good with mostly progressive and supportive people. Cases of gender, caste , race discrimination is quite rare. People are mostly fun to be around. And even if there is some issues proper action is taken very fast in most of the cases

This is one of the best institutions anyone can go for in india. Very progressive socially, politically and obviously academically. It has two campuses with best fecilities and the best teachers. Its a metropolitan campus.

Besides the central library at the main campus, there are departmental libraries for each department. The campuses provide full wifi coverage, 24*7. There are huge well maintained sports grounds and an Open Air Theatre for hosting fests and cultural programmes. the university provides adequate hostel facilities for students coming from very long distances and multiple canteens spread across different parts of the campus provide high quality meals for students.

I'm pursuing my graduation in economics with the intent to do research later. Personally, I liked the old syllabus more which provided much more depth into the understanding of the subject. That being said, the new syllabus is well aligned with both today's employment needs and higher studying prospects. Teacher-student discourse is remarkable given that the university is an autonomous institution.

Placements in engineering courses hover around 84% with students bagging jobs in MNCs and big companiesat good average salary packages. Arts students usually pursue higher studies but those seeking placements receive fair support from the placement cell.

Since it's a state university, fees are nominal. To give an insight, the first year graduation fees fora student in Arts department was ₹1300 aprox. in 2020. Other courses are equally affordable and given the scope of success a student gets here, the fees are nothing.

Campus life is vibrant. One gets to see multiple cultural fests throughout the year. However, there is an inherent problem of students getting involved with all the wrong things. Keeping that aside students nurture a sense of bonding with the people around, inculcate democratic ethos and get to understand what it means to be a student.

All the three faculties and their departments have the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments of academic need are present and are well maintained as well as in use always. Food and living spaces are undoubtedly hygienic .

As the name suggests and past glory, there is hardly any need to mention. With the best of teaching, Guidance and proper adjustment of ones course one can get proper learning. All forms of developments and advancements included.

Science honours has no placements. But for engineering, Jadavpur University is a tier 1 engineering college with top notch placements.A lot of companies from various sectors like IT/software/ finance/ consulting / analytics/ core etc do visit the campus during the placement drive. Almost 100% students are placed in all the branches.

Ju has all forms of things one can expect from a good college life with a plethora of activities apart from academics to take part in.

The library facilities are top-notch. Wi-Fi is available on the campus 24*7,with high-speed. The infrastructure of the classrooms is average.Almost 4-5 canteens are scattered all over the campus.The hostel is available only for the students with economic problems because the fee is low.Medical facilities are available at any time,and students can avail it using their ID card.The location and environment of our college are good.It is the best feature that all students are enjoying all activities.

Teachers are very helpful, and each department has well-qualified professors. They have extreme knowledge, and we are satisfied. Some of them are eminent scientists and writers of India. They are very cooperative, and their teaching quality is extremely good.The course curriculum is relevant to the industry but it can be more effective. Laboratories for this course help the students to gain practical experiment.The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable and highly qualified.

Around 40% to 65% of the students from our course got placed in the non-core field. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The average salary package offered was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Turbo, Cognizant, TCS Ninja, TCS Digital, Capgemini, ZS Associates, LT Infotech, etc. Many students got internships in various companies from here. 80 % of students were selected for internships nearly.

It is government funded college so the college fee macimu low. And it's money worth for me.I chose this course to know the market demand for this course. Various events and fests are always organised in our university. You can get scholarships such as MCM, Oasis, etc.It is an excellent campus with Wi-Fi,and needy students can get various types of scholarships.crowd is very big.If a student judiciously uses the freedom and opportunities given by JU,then the university becomes a gateway of success

The college is in South Kolkata city, and you won't miss out on city life for sure. There are cafes and malls where students can spend time. Inside the campus, there's a unique JU vibe, and fests are common since the college has engineering, science, and arts departments. You can enjoy plenty of fests. There are plenty of clubs like mountaineering, photography, painting, dancing, and you can enroll in for extracurricular activities., it is a world-class university for exiting college life.

The ambiance of our college is pretty good, and the teachers are well-qualified.

College has all necessary infrastructure. Since im from the salt lake campus of Jadavpur the CAB ground is an extra privilege. Classrooms, laboratories, washrooms are all well maintained. The salt lake Campus girls' hostel, ie the previously CAB guest house, is an extra bliss.

Most of the faculty is quite good and helpful except a handful. There is a lot of opportunity to learn if one wishes to. But while in JU expect to meet a few pervs( just a handful but still) amongst the teaching faculty.

With a track record of 100% placements for most of its courses offered by top notch companies, average salary would be around 9-10 LPA. The highest CTC is usually offered to a CSE student, which is often in crore in the recent years.

Facilities are pretty nice. Libraries , sports activities, laboratories , classrooms are all very nice. With clubs available according to your taste you can enroll in one of them, photography club, sports club, music club to name a few.

The teaching in this college especially the teacher student relationship is amazing. The curriculum is updated and includes latest developments in the field. It helps to get job ready . The quality of teaching is outstanding as well.

Placement rates are pretty decent and depend on your course of graduation. But having said that, in all departments the placement rate is quite decent, and if you are a good student academically then placement isn't a issuse at all.

With a btech degree in 20,000 rs. This college is outstanding when it comes to value for money.

You will certainly get some of your most memorable days in this college. College life here is stressfree unlike most other colleges, you will certainly have a nice time here.

The infrastructure is pretty good considering it is an Open University. Quite satisfied with it. The living and food spaces are quite clean. And the classrooms are maintained. The buildings are clean as well.

Absolutely outstanding. I am pursuing Hons degree in History and we have the best faculty. We have one of world's best military history scholar as our Head Of Department and all the other professors are equally qualified and educative. They are extremely student friendly.

Although, I am in arts background, the placements for engineering students from JU is outstanding. I have friends who testified this and the faculty for the departments are also very supportive and educated.

It's an open university. And is extremely affordable.

Jadavpur University was always been my dream college, I am highly glad that now I am a student of JU and I have the opportunity to give the review of my institution. Infrastructure is very good, the buildings, the grafittis and the labs.

Teachers are highly educated and well qualified, a huge number of students crack GATE with great rank.Teachers will help you grow and learn many things from and out of the syllabus, the practicals classes are great

Placement is too high,more than 90% students get placed in great jobs, many psus, hpl recruit students regularly every year and if you love coding then many tech companies also give you a chance to crack the companies.

It is too cheap and affordable for all, 11000 for 4 years in Chemical Engineering

College Infrastructure of this college is really very good. The college has very good laboratories and classrooms are also well-equipped. Hostels are provided at a very low cost but omg they are very decent to lead a student's lifestyle.

Jadavpur University has very good faculty members. Currently I'm studying BE Chemical engineering and this branch specially is a heritage of this university. Syllabus is well-updated with enough laboratory classes.

The quality and quantity of placements at Jadavpur University is outstanding. The CSE branch every year gets 100% placed. Other branches are also well placed and companies are always eager to hire students from this college because they know we r well taught.

Jadavpur University is a Government funded University, not a private one. So, per year we have to pay a very mere amount of Rs. 2400. It is the cheapest college probably of India. And the value for money or return on investment ratio is very very very high.

The campus life at this college is beyond imagination. There are several clubs like music club, chess club, painting club, science club, mountaineering club etc where students can join and engage with it. The location of this university is very good and transportation is so easy.

My experience at this college has just started. I won't exaggerate but this is the best college of West Bengal and one of the best in India as well. Everything in this college is so good that one can never forget the years he/she spent here.
