A bit underwhelming due to inadequate funding. Basic labs found in first year are not upto the mark. However when it comes to equipments, toh would probably all of them except half of them are obsolete from industry pov.

Everything is great except the fact the first year has a lot of irrelevant subjects. Other than that, the later half syllabus has to room to accomodate more subjects which correlate with the industry directly.

I would say decent but recently we have been underperofiming according to the student talent present. The administration is kind of lazy when it comes to the placement procedure. Statistics are best referred through official sources.

This is one factor where the college is surely the best. Absolute nominal fees yet a good placement record

Depends on the branch. If it's Jadavpur campus, then you won't have enough time explore the entire college however the salt lake campus is really small.

The Jadavpur University has quite old buildings. But, it has a central library with separate libraries in each department. It has 4-5 canteens at different points in the campus. It also has an Open air theatre, A gym, and a basketball court adjacent to the main ground.

At Masters level, Jadavpur University has great academics. The professors are well qualified but some really find it difficult to teach due to lack of experience. Masters in Economics has very few options in terms of papers that can be selected and the way of teaching is also very old school.

Placements here are average. You get a package of 10 lpa if you are lucky enough. But, that too in a batch of 50-60 only around 10-11 get that because most of them are not eligible to sit for interviews as it is mandatory to pass in all papers and most of the students fail in 1 or 2 papers.

The university still uses alot of buildings that are way too old and they are maintained very rarely. But, few new buildings have been built recently which is a good thing. There is a lack of adequate labs for example in my department (Economics) there is no sufficient facility. There is also lack of ACs in the classrooms.

The curriculum of Economics department is at par with any other top institutes in the country. The university produces the best researchers in all fields in all faculty. The professors are really very helpful in making theories comprehensive.

The placement in the department is not provided at the Bachelors level. Although there are many internship programs that students can avail through peer connections. Placements are given in the Masters course.

The best University as per value for money. The fees per year is around 1500 only.

Great number of fests and alot of students from different walks of life having different ideologies summit here.

Our University has very good infrastructure. But a little bit old fashioned. But our department has many laboratories such as APPLIED MECHANOCS LAB, HEAT POWER LAB, HYDRAULICS LAB, FITTING SHOP, CARPENTRY SHOP, BLUE EARTH MACHINE SHOP, FOUNDRY SHOP, FORGING SHOP. We also have two computer labs in our department.

In our department one can get best quality education. Professors are very friendly (except few) and also seniors are very helpful.There is also a departmental library. We can borrow books from there in free of cost. Overall best education experience.

Jadavpur University is prolifically known for its placement records. From our department there are hundred percent placement in last consecutive two years. Many companies come for placements like TATA STEEL, LIA MOTORS, CATARPILLER, PWC, JSW etc.

The college infrastructure is up to the standard and the students are provided with a conducive learning atmosphere. Classrooms are large and properly placed in the structure, and the library, which contains various sources of books and journals, is adequately provided. The campus is clean and green, and the students are able to enjoy the surroundings.

The curriculum is upgraded according to the needs of the industry to make sure that the graduates are relevant in the job market. The competence and level of the faculty is commendable which translates to quality delivery of classes.

The college also provides workshops on the concepts of entrepreneurship and creativity and encourages students to set-up their own ventures. I really appreciate that from my college for working and understanding.

My college has all the necessary infrastucture , facilities and equipments for the students to study in our campus It has all smart clsses , seminar halls , libraries , sports centres and hostels and wifi also.

I am studying BE in Mechanical Engineering . And the quality of teaching is the best in here because the teachers are very helpful . The curriculum is updated and incklludes all the recent developments in the field.

The quality of the placements is good . 80 to 90 % students got placements in MNCs and the highest packages as far as i know is 20 to 30 LPA is the student is decipined and hard working .The process of placement is easy and pleasant.

The college has a very good and well maintained infrastructure with a vast campus. The classes are very good with all kind of modern teaching equipments. The college has very good and well maintained auditorium.

The academic structure is excellent and helps us to do our study in a very productive way. The professors are great and they help to do our studies in a very efficient way . The also conduct doubt clearing sessions to help us clear our doubts.

The college donot have a placement cell . The students here somoy get placement from the college. They have 2 options , either going for higher studies or apply for off campus jobs. Given the way the college teaches us, it is not too much difficult to get off campus jobs.

The infrastructure could be maintained better The classrooms should be better equipped and made into smart classrooms. The benches could be made better for extended use. Overall infrastructure improvement is required.

Academics are overall good However it would be better to go for a more modern approach than dreary class lectures. Faculty should focus on the overall development of the class and not just a few selected students of their choice.

Placements are good. Again, it should be made impartial to provide equal opportunity for all the students. Faculty should be more active in helping students then just focusing on a few selected students of their choice

Yes, it is value for money. The fees is less as compared to other colleges

Campus life could be improved by being less politic and more academic, on both the faculty and the students behalf.
