Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), Kolkata is a public state university established by the Government of West Bengal in 2000. MAKAUT University was formerly known as the West Bengal University of Technology. Bsc Biotechnology at Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology,. kolkata is a very good course for biotechnology. It is a 3 years undergraduate program.
Admission in the Undergraduate programme of MAK-AUT, WB is made through Common Entrance Test (CET). Apart from that students must have passed from recognised board fro their class 12. The applicant must have passes/appeared/ due-to in current academic year at the Higher Secondary Examination in the general or vocational stream of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from a recognized board/ University, from science stream with English as one of the subjects .
The total fees for 3 years of BSc is Rs 1.2 lakh with a yearly fees of Rs 40000.
