First of all,congratulations for such a good percentile.At this point of time it would be difficult to say whether you will get admission in these two colleges or not,as final result will be declared by NTA after second session of JEE MAINS (which will be conducted in april).Still considering previous year cuttoff ,you may get admission in DTU.

If your rank is below 50000 ,you are likely to get NIT or any other good college.

Hello sir, for getting your ward admitted in DTU/NSIT you need to fill up the form of JAC which will be released in the third week of June. Only after filling the form will the colleges select your ward for the counselling process if he/she has scored the cutoff rank.

If you come from the Delhi region then it will be easier to get selected for the counselling process as the cutoff ranks are not too high for the Delhi region. But if you are from Outside Delhi then the cutoffs range from around 1,400-10,000.

Considering, you do not belong to Delhi and your category is General, your chances are very less of admission to Netaji Subhas University of Technology.

As per last years stats i.e 2018. For

NETAJI SUBHASH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY:

closing rank for General, outside Delhi, Defence quota priority 3candidate was:

                   1.)268983 for Computers 

                   2.)565720 for Mechanical

DELHI TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY:

Base JEE MAINS cutoff rank was 102346(P-5)

So if the trend continues you might get a seat in NSIT/DTU after scoring 140 marks in JEE MAINS 2019.

Last year the closing rank of NSIT for defence category student is 268983 for CS branch and  on the basis of your mentioned rnark your is far better then this so on my opinion you can wait for the conselling procedure to get this college.

Hey Aspirant, Sorry to tell you that but at this percentile, if you are from the general category you won't be able to get admission in CS in NSIT.

From the previous year cutoff, it can be clearly seen that only students of Delhi with above 4000 ranks were able to get admission in CS last year.

At your percentile, your expected rank is about 72 thousand. So if you are from general category and also of Delhi region you can't get admission in NSIT.

I would suggest you try to improve your rank in the coming Mains paper of April in order to get admission to your preferred college.
