I am very happy to share my review about my college which is Asansol Engineering College, Asansol, West Bengal. I want to share with you that my college have the good infrastructure, facilities and equipments. My college faculties are also good and helpful. They have a good knowledge regarding the subjects which hey teach and college also have very big ground. College also have canteen which food is extremely good, and have computer lab where student can enhance their skills and knowledge.
I passed out in 2022 from the BBA background and I liked this course very much. I choose this course because I wanted to learn something new in the field of Management and want to be a manager in the organization. The quality of teaching was also so good that student can easily score good marks and learn new subjects and new topics because teachers are so good and helpful in each and every field.
The quality of placement is very good and energetic. The highest salary offered is 12LPA and this college not only have BBA course they also have BCA course and also have Engineering courses with good placements.
Yes, my college had all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Well ventilated classrooms with lights were provided in classrooms also the laboratory has a variety of learning kits. The living spaces were clean & hygienic foods were provided in canteen.
I studied Bachelor in Computer Application in Asansol Engineering college, I had a interest from my childhood of learning varieties of programming languages which includes Java, Basics C, C++, Python and more.
Our College provides excellent placement opportunities where companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Mind Tree, TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, LTI & Byju's came to hire employees from different departments with good salary structure.
AEC has all infrastructure needed for all the studies, labs and classes are properly working and we'll maintained and enough space for all activities. Also has canteen which has decent food and hostel security and food also there.
Quality of teaching is good. Teachers are well qualified and ready to deliver their knowledge and they are also supportive. They clear all doubts and you can connect with them anytime regarding doubts.
Placement for Computer science, Electronics and communication and Information technology are good but maximum in IT companies. Not many core companies come here. If you wish to do job in IT then it's good.
It's value for money
Good campus life
If you are local it's good for you
The library have sufficient book for every students. There are lot of sports activities in our college like cricket, football, badminton, basketball and volleyball. There are many clubs inside the college like coding club, cultural club, robotics club, tech club and many more.
I choose this course because in this field many students take jobs many students are placed in good package. The ratio is 40:60 Faculty members are highly qualified in their field also they are highly experienced. The college conducted 4 theory internal exams and two internal practical exams And the gap between each internal exams in 1 months. our college studying is too good . many teachers are available for particular subjects and all teachers are qualified in their field.
Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. There are more than 80 companies offer placements from our college like TCS digital and ninja , Wipro , Virtusa, Capgemini, Infosys and many more. I plan my career as Software engineer after B.tech
In Asansol Engineering College the B.tech fees of 4 years Total = 400000.00 and uniform fees= 10000 and in every semester exam fees=1200 In Asansol Engineering College Scholarship is also valid many students are studying due through scholarship. And also provide educational lone facility.
The Annual fest of our college conducted in between may to July named "AEC Fiesta" . The Ratio of Teachers and faculty members are 40:60 Faculty members are highly qualified in their field also they are highly experienced. and our college is too good.
I choose this course because in this field many students take jobs many students are placed in good package. and our college is best for this course and our college placement also very good many companies are came in our college and 80% students placed in these companies.
The college have well maintained laboratories with all the required equipments needed. It has also a very good library space for students where they can utilise their time and do some productive work. The hostels are clean and have good wifi connection because of which attending lectures and doing online course becomes really trivial. The food provided in the mess doesn't have much of taste but it is undoubtedly very hygienic.
The faculties are really supportive and has a good grasp on their respective subjects. I was and electrical student and in my opinion the curriculum was update as required. The focus was always on clearing students doubts rather than just teaching them the lessons. Many of the professor's lectures were really interactive and ya some of them I found a bit boring. The overall experience was pretty good.
The placement ratio is undoubtedly more than what I expected. Major thanks to our placement cell which bought good companies like amazon, General Electric, TCS, Bosch, Byjus, Extramarks and many more. Almost all of my batch mates are placed in good companies with pretty decent package. The minimum package offered was 3.6 and highest offered was 10 lpa and the average that I heard during my batch was 5 lpa. So the placement was really good.
The course you take depends how you utilise your time and how productive you are during your college time. In my perspective it is value for money . May this opinion might vary with person to person.
The college campus was really good. From good playground to well maintained and good canteen. The students came from all the nearby States. The college was at a prime location because of which all the basic facilities were available in walking distance. The staffs were also well behaved from the security guards to canteens staffs and the academic staffs. But the academic staffs used to make us wait a lot even for small stuffs which I felt was a waste of time. The emergency facility was upto mark
I guess I have already covered every bit. So I don't think there is anything much left in my opinion.
Asansol Engineering college are one of the best infrastructure that i was seen , collge facilities and equipment are good , the college campus are so green like garden, playing ground, the libraries and laboratories are very good , one for thing the hole campus are free WiFi , it's lot of help them
My stream is CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT , i choose civil because i like structure , like DAM, BRIDGES , MULTI STORED BULIDING , etc , so i choose civil . College teacher are polite and compotable , the teacher are very much knowledgeable. All over is good Academics
Placement is good. My rating is 4.5 because IT , COMPUTER SCIENCE , SOFTWARE department are very good placement , but core trades are few placement here , but that of lot of options here . My highest salary package is 3 LPA it's good ...
My course fee is 80000 thousand per year ( 40000 thousand each samisstar ) it's compatible for everybody , this college are also hostel facility here's it's cos poor , but in my case i am staying in PG that's are also 1500 per month ...
Engineering life is good , in my experience it's so much fun here , like cricket, basketball, football, badminton, volleyball etc palying here in campus ground and indoor .it's safe and it's emergency facilities are available ....
Overall ratings is 5 in my experience , this college is one of the best college and infrastructure that i was seen ,this 4 year i hvae lot of experience . I love civil engineering department , and lot of knowledge geting ....
The infrastructure facilities provided by the college are amazing. We have large spaced classrooms and we'll equipped labs. We have a central library with good books. Besides there is a gymnasium, a cafeteria, many seminar halls, huge play ground, medical center and 4 hostels.
I'm currently a 3rd year Electronics and Communication Engineering student, we have outstanding faculty who teaches us really well, besides academics we receive industry level training on trending topics at the end of each semester in the form of Finishing School Programme.
A great number of students got placed last year in good companies. Placement records of AEC is great, even in the lockdown period our college is still conducting placement activities and many students are getting recruited in reputed companies.
The total cost of a 4 year degree is around four lakhs and twenty thousand excluding hostel and lodging charges.
Almost all modern facilities is being provided by the college. Full campus is WiFi enabled, Labs are equipped with all required instruments. Classroom is very much airy and we have got a big library with books for all. Hostel facility is being provided but the food is not good.
Teachers are very much helpful, Experience and Qualified. The teaching technique is not so good except for few. The courses are prepared to make us Job ready. The teachers are very much friendly but during the exam they are very strict.
Placement facility is not so good, only around 20 - 30% of the students gets a Job from the college with an average package of 2 lacs per annum. companies like Simplex, GDCL come every year to recruit students. There is internship but not for all.
When I would talk about my college's infrastructure, it is good. Big playground, a whole seperate building for Mechanical department and etc. The classrooms are airy enough and spacious too. Some laboratories are there which are really very well equipped but again few laboratories need to be maintained more nicely. Talking about libraries, it could be more better as not all required books are available. No such sports Centre inside college. Hostels not up to the mark. Wi fi available for students
I am pursuing Electrical Engineering currently in 1st year. Yes the faculty members are really good but few years back the faculty members were far more better than now. And I pursued this stream as our college has good faculty for this stream and also for mechanical. Quality of teaching is really good. Our college also has many extra curriculur activities to enrich students with different talents and to bring out hidden talents. Several clubs are there for students to explore themselves.
At present I am in 1st year but still as much as I know placements here are good if you are up to the mark. You need to work on yourself to make yourself job ready. Obviously cgpa matters but your own hard work will make you ready for a job. Top 20 students from each stream can think of making themselves to any job. Average package has been 2.5lakhs per annum. Placement process will be a bit hectic as you have to pass few rounds. College will give you continuous support to take a job.
Cost for my course is 1,46,000 per year. I feel that yes it is getting worth as I really had a passion to study about electrical things from this college. And there are several other extra curriculur activities that will really nurture you and make you job ready after you pass from this b tech course after 4 years.
College campus is big enough. It is situated near the highway. There is an ATM just beside the entrance of our college. A playground for various sports activities then we have a basketball court. There was a gymnasium but it is closed now. We have canteen there even but that needs to be more nicely maintained. Conference halls are there. Humanities labs which are really well equipped. Student teacher relationn is very amazing. Good location an dit can withstand emergencies whenever required.
Nothing much to say about this college. Only thing to be kept in mind whatever you want to achieve in your life you need to work hard for that be it any stream. And college will always show their help and support whenever required. This college is one of the best colleges on West Bengal. It's affliated to MAKAUT certified by AICTE and nothing much to say. Whatever college you join at the end your cgpa and your hard work will reflect.
Our college is very good.it has a green and neat and clean campus.the faculty and teacher of the college is also very good . It has big library .A large playground and basketball court ,it is having one of the best hostel in west bengal as wifi facilities.
I am studying bachelor of technology in information technology from 1st year . The quality of teaching in this college is very good. Yes, our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
Nearly 80% of the students got placed in the previous year our college is famous for placements in BCA course of 3 years .Top of recruiters of our college are TCS ,wipros,Infosys , Cognizant and many more .Each students got placed in well company.
Not this college but west bengal technical university us available for money. It takes very less money as compared to other colleges across the India at the same time it also provide good education and gives placement.
I really enjoyed the student life in this college .As it has a big campus and seperate girls and boys hostel .It has also big playground and the most hygienic and value for money cabteen .
In West Bengal there are many college.all college are good but Asansol engineering college is good among all with all respects.
Hello Aspirant,
We all know that since the official cut-off details from the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), hasn't released till now, it's quite impossible for anyone to make any accurate remark about the precise cut-off marks for this year of any college.
So I would like to recommend you to go through this following Careers360 article:
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/assam-cee-cutoff
https://engineering.careers360.com/exams/assam-cee
Though the cut-off marks will vary every year depending upon several determining factors (like number of appeared canditates, number of successful candidates, total number of available seats, highest marks of ACEE 2022, difficulty level of question paper etc), still as per our assumption and after thoroughly analysing the previous year's cut-off details it can be definitely estimated that since you're an ST(P) category student you've enough possibilities to get admitted in your desired college i.e. Assam Engineering College, Guwahati in instrumentation department.
You can also get chance in other departments in this renowned institutions like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication etc.
You can also check in other Government and Private Engineering colleges in your state, follow the link for this:

Hi,
Firstly, Asansol Engineering college :
• Location is decent, in the heart of the city.
• Teaching style is good, but at the end of the day you have to study on your own as well.
• Placement cell is very active, students of CS and IT branches get job offers from TCS, IBM etc.

Now, BC Roy :
• Location is in the outskirts of the city, in a bit isolated place - which is the case of most engineering colleges here in West Bengal.
• Teaching is decent, but placement is average. They try to bring good companies, though.
