From my point of view BIET Jhansi for CSE is great. But if you wanna do IT from KNIT sultanpur you can do it. KNIT is great college too.

Comparatively both colleges are good. You should first clarify about your course interest.

Congratulations for getting good rank in UPSEE 2020. As per last some years cut offs sorry to say but your chances of getting admission into BIET, Jhansi are very very low for any of the branch. The least cut off is for chemical engineering which is nearly between 8000 to 9000 but as your rank is very much lower than that so your chances are low. Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhansi is a government-funded autonomous engineering college in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. It is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Also, to be honest, placement scenario at BIET is not so great. The placement in CS and IT Branch is decent with average of 4.5 Lpa and highest 12Lpa. Placement in core is average though.

Placements were not good till year 2018 but recently there is quiet a significant increase in the placements and reputed companies like Samsung, TCS, Cognizant, Tech. Mahindra etc. comes to  college and almost 60-70% student get placed in final Year of their B.tech.

KNIT Sultanpur is a govt. college established by Kamla Nehru Memorial Trust in the year 1976. In 1979, it was taken over by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.  KNIT is an autonomous college of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. In terms of infrastructure, the college is good. Placements are okay with CS/ IT/EL having more opportunities.

Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET), Jhansi is an autonomous institute and was established in the year 1986. BIET was formerly known as Bundelkhand Engineering College, Jhansi. The campus spreads over 220 acres of land. BIET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college offers undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.Tech, MBA) courses in various areas.

B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology , Jhansi has lower fees . However, if you need to choose CSE branch, you should go for KNIT Sultanpur , because they have better placement records. KNIT Sultanpur provides you many forums which will help you to enhance your skills.

IIIT ranchi would be a better option for cse as, it is one of the finest college of the state and hence very good companies come here and take a decent amount of students with handsome package every year. Hence it would be a good choice over BIET jhnasi as it is not that good if we compare these two college.

Dr AITH Kanpur is considered a better college compared to BIET Jhansi according to me because since the past years if compared both the college's the students from Dr AITH Kanpur college had scored good marks and secured good placements into job profiles with attractive salary packages.

So overall my preference is Dr AITH Kanpur if you wish to pursue BTech in Biotechnology.

Bundelkhanda University is a state university in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology is a government Engineering College in Jhansi,Uttar Pradesh.

There is NO LINK between BIET and Bundelkhanda University the only link is they are in same city.

For B.tech BIET is far better than BU.BIET is among top 3 UPSEE government Engineering Colleges.

Congratulations for getting good rank in USEE 2020. According to the last some years cut offs for BIET Jhansi sorry to say but you have no any chances of getting admission into this institution because as this is one of the most famous institution of UP so the cut offs are very high.

The cut offs for the OBC girl with home state is nearly 3000 to 3500 CRL and as your rank is so much lower than that so you have no any chances of admission for CSE branch in this institution.
